{This week}

1. It snowed and feels like December. depressing. yes.

This is my world right now... I took it yesterday:(

2. So last night I went to a leadership meeting for my calling in my ward....one of the talks given was amazing I couldn't hold back the tears as she read this poem and her daughter sang a song right after about our children....

It stole the oak tree's leaves away

With so much going on in each of our lives this poem has so much meaning to all of us because all of us go through our own trials...and as the years go by the the world gets crazier and crazier more misguided evil and we have to have our roots planted deep or we will not survive.

4. This is the song that was sung last night also..... a song from long ago a song by Janice Kapp Perry called "Little Seeds" and sang by a 11 year old girl...not a dry eye in the room.... OUR children are so important and if we looked at them through different eyes what would we see.....

{so I can't find a link for the song but it is so pretty so here are the words...}

5. We are done our primary presentation and our ward Halloween party both were awesome and turned out really well especially our ward party it was a lot of fun and I have amazing girls to work with all with so many talents! It was a dress up party me I don't do Halloween its not my favorite holiday...but we managed to through some costumes together:) {I know I really stretched myself eh! Where's waldo in case you can't tell;)

K2 was super cute;) He even kept his glasses on!

6. We had a chili cook-off 15 pots of chili I actually won 3rd {I know we were in charge but I didn't know who the judges even were fun times} I made this recipe from here.... I tasted it but didn't actually have any ha ha! But I heard it was really good:)

7. My K stuck up for his sister on the bus yesterday to some older boy who was throwing ice in the bus window at her...they couldn't shut it because he was throwing it continually....so K went to tell him to stop and the punk kid PUNCHED my baby in the face!!!!! You better believe mama bear came out!!!! Seriously kids these days!! I was just super proud of him for defending his sister!!

{Which he's probably thinking I do and I get punched!! Sad!!}

8. Football is over:) Things will slow down now.... great season! They won / tied all games but most of all learned a lot and grew so much!!

{who also happens to be my super cute sister in law who happens to be having a baby in about 4 weeks too:) her number came up on the random generator and I thought oh it can't be a sister in law so I did it again and got my other sister in law so I figured it must be meant to be :)Plus its only fair and I honestly take the first one so lucky Carly...love her glad she's part of the the 18 siblings crew.... yes I said 18 did you know D has 8 brothers and sisters 9 kids pretty amazing parents he has ....all amazing!}

SO 4 Random news around here:

-Finally got some family pics done can't wait to see how they turned out..

-I took these 4 kids to a pumpkin patch today to pick their own pumpkins out they LOVED it.....{it was super windy today ex. L;)}

seriously what a blessed mama I am these kids are my everything!! They drive me insane, make me scream, cry and love more then I ever thought possible they make me smile till my cheeks hurt... but most of all they are a joy and they love life and every simple little thing like a pile of pumpkins today was "the coolest thing ever"-M

your right M it was fun!

-Starting to think Christmas decor ..and gifts ...music ahh my favorite time of the year....

-its supposed to start snowing next week ahhh winter comes early

- I have so much to do this weekend make 6 dozen buns, prepare a talk, pray really hard that our primary presentation looks organized and runs smoothly, a birthday party for my father in law, and a ward Halloween party that we the primary have put together and hoping that comes together too! Life is never boring around here that is for sure...

- Had a busy week with LOTS of opportunity to serve and it feels good...try it you'll feel better too....

-Started ring making again with a better advertising option and sold 10 in about 10 minutes it was actually pretty fun..... so I'm going to make a bunch more and sell them too...I love picking each piece and band and creating..... I mean its super easy and anybody could do it ........but doing it is the difference I suppose and its fun....

-Found this amazing quote that I love on adoption since that and my marriage are the very most important things that ever happened to us;)

obviously ha ha

{This and That..}

1. Our Family pictures have been canceled twice now because of the crappy rainy/ windy weather...I know you were all wondering where the yearly new fall pics were right;) ha ha

2. Sometimes I get so bored with day in day out routine and need to mix it up a bit or need something to change anybody else ever feel like that??

{a good change that is not asking for something major}

3. K2 is having his eye surgery in Dec I'm so nervous and scared for him he's my baby and the sweetest kid you ever met!!! I mean he seriously says to me things like "I love you SO much" or mom you have lots of bags be so careful there is ice on stairs" He is the most thoughtful loving boy EVER!! and the thought of any pain and him about does me in ...but I know it will help him and is for the best!

We had a super fun day on the day of his apt just us and him...he was so cute and excited about everything and was super good for the Dr's...

4.oh and found out he will need glasses before he starts school too..... YEAH ha ha for us 3 kids in glasses oh fun times

5. My little miss L is a tad bit boy obsessed already heaven help us!!

6. My football man is growing up its seriously seriously crazy he is such a great boy I sure hope he stays that way:) SO a Funny story HE was super mad at me the other morning because he lost his lunch kit a week ago...... SO of course being the thoughtful, kind mother I am...... I thought it would be awesome to give him an old lunch kit of M's a buzz light year one {as a joke obviously I mean he is almost 11 ;) So I fill up his lunch kit write him his little daily note....... and he comes up.... freaks out that he isn't taking that baby thing.......... tells me he throw his lunch out and grabs his backpack and goes to the bus! Well 5minutes later thinking the bus had already left the door opens he runs in gives me a huge hug tells me he's sorry and that he loves me and runs back to the bus! Now that is a good kid!! 7. Remember those 7 sister in laws/sister that were all pregnant {found out all in may;) well of the 7 ....3 are now here:) 5 to go....Liam, Olivia and Chelsea have made their healthy, strong beautiful debut so far ...wow crazy eh!! Little Miss L really really wants a sister so she loved holding this beautiful little O....

8. our primary presentation is in a couple weeks the kids are so dang cute here's hoping it goes great!

9. Taken 2 is awesome we saw it last night as good as the first if you like that kind of movie:)

10. Some days I just want to cry. For a lot of reasons.

11. I think its a good time for a giveaway:) were all pretty much INTO the rhythm of school, schedules and routine again and we all need something exciting
