{10 on Tues}

 source pinterest

1. I should be known as freezie mom because today I gave out more than 20!! Not uncommon for more than 5 kids to be at my front door asking for freezies...must be summer...and i must be too nice 2 ha ha :)

2. My Kids finished school!! and K got a great class and friends for next year for the first time he got who he was really hoping he'd get plus friends a bonus! and L got K's old teacher he just had she should be in for the year of her life! Hopefully he doesn't give as much homework as he did the grade 3's this year now he teaches second graders so hopefully we will ALL survive L's second grade year!!!  {ps I'm NOT on of those moms who looks forward to summer I like routine and so do my kids so I'm excited for the fun things to do this summer but I will be more than happy to send them back for another year lol!!!}
K had a great year he learned more then just school work he learned responsibility accountability, and consequences he grew a foot and got glasses too :)  he is such a great kid I just love him!!

This girl had a learning year of the social kind seh loved her teacher and she learned how to read to tell the truth and unfortunately that girls are mean and catty sometimes at such a young age its really sad! But over all she did amazing and learned so much about life and choices! Love this spunky girl! She is one of a kind!

3. K and I "ran" in a kid's marathon last Wednesday..... he left me in the dust. but it was fun to do together! I feel old.

4. We drove 14 hours last Thursday and went to my sisters  place in Boise her little girl was getting baptized last Saturday. So we went to the water park had a birthday, baptism and some shopping and then 14 hours home late sunday night talk about a whirlwind and grouchy kids!!! {slightly grouchy mom too nothing like being couped up with a on the move 5 year old ahhh} But it was fun and so good to laugh play games laugh some more and spend time together thanks holl for all love ya!!
my crazy kids at famous dave's BBQ seriously great food, fast and kid friendly to put up with us after 8 hours of traveling lol!
some of the cousins at Kaisley's baptism all under 9! Plus we are missing four! fun times!

Thank goodness for grandma cause K2 hates water for some reason! So we had tons of fun and all got fried!!
5.K is already bored and summer is pretty much 2 days in!! He "ran away" for the first time today after fighting with M...... he packed his backpack for real some clothes, a baggie of carrots, a FORK and some yogurt at least he makes healthy choices haha! I told him I loved him and he left {for 20 minutes} and came back........... watered the garden and trees and filled the pool HA HA! Guess he needed time to think. I asked him where he was going he said grandma's...how he was planning to get there we'll never know. So that was fun! He's much happier now :)

6. I hate dirty sinks, water spots and grime.... when I wash my hands I wash the faucet and sink too then I wash them again...... I sometimes do it in public places too sick I know ;)
{remember these are random facts of everything or anything I feel like writing ;)

7. These all look so good and healthy love it!!
My kids love frozen grapes if you haven't tried it do they are so yummy!!!

8. I swear turning 35 my metabolism slowed down is that really possible I've heard about that but really ha ha? i feel so sluggish some days?? Seriously why do we have to grow up????
Why do we feel the same inside but somehow kids that were babies yesterday are in grade 4 or graduating getting married and having babies, my own son is almost as tall as me {I know not hard to beat that} and I've been married almost 15 years somehow I got bumped into the middle aged category along the way..... I still feel young inside??? I guess we always will won't we...... its our bodies that don't get the message!!!!
Life is so unfair isn't it ha ha! Such is life!

9.Summer today is.... half naked kids, pools, bubbles and trampolines, sprinklers under the tramp, building ramps for bikes, spraying each other, sprung tramp springs, and a million kids running around, fights tattling etc etc
and MY GARDEN for the first time I actually love having garden boxes for the first time I don't mind weeding it and I love watering it each day! I love garden boxes and to see the produce coming wow we did that!!! Yes I'm a little proud of us... Its been awhile since we've had a garden so we started small and D is probably pretty happy to see his wife get excited about the garden after all these years hee hee!
i know pretty good for me eh!!

10. My baby is 2 this Saturday and I can hardly believe it. :(

i love this quote.

Have a great week!!!

{Ten on Tuesday...}

source pinterest
Good reminder right in case we forget along the busy way of life ha ha!

1. Yesterday we went for K2's eye appointment{those that are new to my blog K2 has nystagmus here  is a link if you want to know what it is} anyway its an hour and half long appointment so we were there for quite awhile but it was fun to hang out with just K2....and especially to hear that they were amazed really at how good it has gotten that he won't need glasses any time soon! The only thing is his null point is at 30 degree tilt for now its cute people just think he's shy, but before he starts school he will need surgery to his eye muscles to stretch one side and tighten the other so we are praying that he continues to get better and better!! We'll just take each year as it comes for now!

2. Speaking of K2 he had to go to ER this past Saturday because of a dang mosquito bite to his face that swelled up so much he could barely open his eye! and he's still happy....

thank you benedryl

3. School is done tomorrow wow~ We got L's report yesterday {k's probably today} Anyway L passed to grade 2 and did awesome on her report card we sure are proud of all she has accomplished this year! She has learned a lot and is a pretty smart girl, socially we are still working on that she is younger than most of the kids in her grade and sometimes I wonder if I made the right choice putting her in early instead of waiting??  Who knows?

4. Fathers day was good the tie banner turned out cute...fun whatever eh...

.......we made D breakfast in bed and got him a huge craftsman tool chest that wheels around the shop on sale for over 1/2 off amazing deal! So he was happy! and we surprised him {i think} which is a feat in itself :)
Friday night the boys set up the tent and watched a movie and slept out there, and L and I went for a walk and rented never say never yes I watched Justin Bieber with her and guess what I actually liked it did I just admit that??   L loved it!! Anyway it was a fun friday night for all of us! and saturday it poured so everything got soaked! I forgot to take the picture as they were doing it so I got the wet picture!

5. Tomorrow is K and I's marathon day {a whole mile ha ha} The school has a great program where you run the first 25 miles in school with marathon club or honestly on our own and its fun to do together. So I'm excited to do that with him tomorrow!

6. My last parent council thing is tomorrow I've been on it for three years and after that you have to take a year break at least...I have loved being involved and helping out and knowing what is going on. So I'll miss it next year. The years go by so so fast!

7. I'm scared for who my kids will get next year for a teacher there were so many changes with teachers moving to new grades so I'm crossing my fingers and saying my prayers for Thursday morning class lists!!

8. There is a cute little red fox hanging around our neighborhood the past week or so. random i know.

9. I really miss my hairdresser she moved away to sell alarms or pesticides can't remember which one this summer. Can't wait till she gets back!

10.
summer is here.
SO here comes
swim club
reading club
basketball camp
swim lessons
camping
trips
waterskiing.... getting the boat out!
Roaring Springs water park
shopping
utah
wicked

{I am Thankful.}

-pinterest

I am Thankful :

FOR THE HUSBAND
WHO IS ON THE SOFA
BEING A COUCH POTATO,
{ mine  rarely is ever is but you get the idea }
BECAUSE HE IS HOME WITH ME
AND NOT OUT AT THE ______.

FOR THE TEENAGER  {children}
{ my 6 year old is close enough ha ha}
WHO IS COMPLAINING ABOUT DOING DISHES
BECAUSE IT MEANS SHE IS AT HOME,
NOT ON THE STREETS.

FOR THE TAXES I PAY
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM EMPLOYED.
{we}

FOR THE MESS TO CLEAN AFTER A PARTY
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE
BEEN SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS
{or my kids have friends haha}.

FOR THE CLOTHES THAT FIT A LITTLE TOO SNUG
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT

FOR MY SHADOW THAT WATCHES ME WORK
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM OUT IN THE SUNSHINE

FOR A LAWN THAT NEEDS MOWING,
WINDOWS THAT NEED CLEANING,
AND GUTTERS THAT NEED FIXING
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE A HOME
i wish.

FOR ALL THE COMPLAINING
I HEAR ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT
BECAUSE IT MEANS
WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH..

FOR THE PARKING SPOT
I FIND AT THE FAR END OF THE PARKING LOT
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM CAPABLE OF WALKING
AND I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH TRANSPORTATION.

FOR MY HUGE HEATING BILL
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM WARM.

FOR THE LADY BEHIND ME IN CHURCH
WHO SINGS OFF KEY BECAUSE IT MEANS
I CAN HEAR.

FOR THE PILE OF LAUNDRY AND IRONING
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR

FOR WEARINESS AND ACHING MUSCLES
AT THE END OF THE DAY
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN
CAPABLE OF WORKING HARD.

FOR THE ALARM THAT GOES OFF
IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM ALIVE.

- you get the point.

what are you most thankful for?

{Ten on Tuesday...}

 source pinterest
 quote of the week LOVE it.

1. The weeks are flying by and my timing is pretty much off or booked pretty tight with all things end of school related!
So looks like T on T is what we get lately!

2. Soccer is officially over for another season hallelujah! The kids had fun though and that is what counts {actually K didn't his team lost every game which frustrated the life out of him he is a really good player

and got so frustrated with the lack of team work!} So I guess he learned a few lessons this season. But I still feel really sad for him.

3. I got yelled at by a little sweet old lady today.... for a u turn I made to the post office.... she asked me if I knew it was a illegal...to which I said I know..... lots of things are and this is my illegal she said she almost got hit one time I said i was sorry that happened but I look and usually only do it when nobody is around....... *time* right...anyway guess you had to be there we had a nice little chat it was kind of funny....
I thought she needed help so I went to help her but she just wanted to get mad at me..... really I do it so my 5 year old doesn't run into traffic in the 5 seconds I run into check the mail. because my doors don't stay locked long when your inside...so a u turn saves me time and saves my child's life probably......... {until i get a ticket ha ha}

4. So I'm on parent council here....anyway in a meeting last month I stood up for an issue I believe in/against..I voted No..... I was the only one..... out of about 8 but because I said no {my face went red and my heart started pounding,} but because I did 2 other people rescinded there vote and we took another month to think about it..... where it ended up being 4 vs 4 in the end and will probably end up being in a parent survey. Moral of the story sometimes its hard to
stand up for what you believe in
but in the end you don't know what it can do. If anything I'm glad I did.
Big or small it all matters to me.

5.

6. Sunday at grandmas ended a little traumatic my nephew  broke his arm pretty much in half in two places.  The kids were playing around the horse coral looking at the horses my nephew was on the fence and jumped down landed on his arm.....the little kids heard it snap and saw the bone through the skin...
they were a little traumatized....
it was a scary but K ran as fast as he could to the house to get his dad..... his face was white as a ghost so I knew he was not fooling around. So my nephew will spend the whole summer in 4-6 different casts poor boy! We went to visit him last night in the hospital he has been in the hospital since Sunday and should be going home tomorrow. Life eh.

6. Sunday night My brother in law says to L
{and the rest of us in the kitchen}
" My girl friend is coming out later"...
L says "which one?"
HA HA we all died laughing..... poor kids are getting confused Ryan ;)j/k

7. The kids had cowboy day at school last week look at these cute kids...

8. um these are really good..... as L says "these are a definitely a keeper mom" and as D says "these are your best ever" so really give it a try they are so worth it...... from our best bites

9.My kids are growing up to fast.
I strongly dislike it. But i love to watch them interact and love and care about each other when they do!
10.
 ....that is for sure because nothing is perfect or the way we imagined it to be but that is life the unexpected happens, hearts are broken, pain is evident, plans are derailed. Look around and someone is always worse off then we are and really sometimes but it can be hard to find the wonderful. But if we choose to think it is wonderful and pick something or one thing that was wonderful about each day it can change us.
Small steps I'm learning slowly....even if some days you have to think long to find what was good about it.

and because we all need a good laugh sometimes....thats pretty much what I did when I read this {sorry}

:) Have a great week...make it count...

Just let me cry SUNDAY SONG

Lyrics by Hilary weeks. Pause the blog music and hit play on the video.

Just Let Me Cry
I believe that everything happens for a reason.
We’re not just tossed by the wind,
or left in the hands of fate.
But sometimes life sends a storm that’s unexpected.
And we’re forced to face our deepest pain.
When I feel the heartache begin to pull me under...
I dig my heels in deep,
and I fight to keep my ground.
Still, at times the hurt inside grows stronger.
And there’s nothing I can do but let out...
Just let me cry.
I know it’s hard to see.
But the pain I feel isn’t going away today.
Just let me cry.
Till every tear has fallen.
Don’t ask when...
and don’t ask why.
Just let me cry.
When I agreed that God could put this heart inside me.
I understood that there would be a chance that it would break.

But I know He knows exactly how I’m feeling...
And I know in time He’ll take the pain away.

But for now...
Just let me cry.

I know it’s hard to see.
But the pain I feel isn’t going away today.

Just let me cry.
Till every tear has fallen.
Don’t ask when...
and don’t ask why.
Just let me cry.
I have felt joy,
the kind that makes my heart want to sing.
And so my tears are not a surrender,
I’ll feel that way again.
But for now...
For this moment...
Just let me cry.
I know it’s hard to see.
But the pain I feel.
Isn’t going away today.
Just let me cry.
Till every tear has fallen.
Don’t ask when...
and don’t ask why.
Just let me cry.

{for whatever reasons effect us all in our lives I was listening to this song this morning and couldn't stop thinking about the lyrics so I'm sharing....
have a good sunday.}

{ ten on tuesday}

1. Because all I can say is we better start knowing and thanking because the majority of us don't have ....
earthquakes/tsunamis/flooding/sweltering heat/ famine/ landslides/fires/volcanoes erupting/tornadoes/disease
--thats quite the list isn't it......guess what they are all happening right now...makes me think...what more I need to be doing....

"WHAT IF YOU WOKE UP TODAY WITH ONLY THE THINGS YOU THANKED GOD FOR YESTERDAY??"
 where would you be today??

2. June is the craziest month.... field trips, parties, money for this and that, here and there, end of soccer, end of parties, sports day, track, swimming, end of parties, exams, carnivals, marathon club run for me and K the final mile a great program to get kids active in our school K loves it
my big boy will be in fourth grade, princess L in 2nd, and M in Kinder holy!

3. My kids eat their mac n cheese with ketchup, mustard and relish weird?? Thats okay I eat my cereal with a fork because I detest MILK.

4.Been thinking about this a lot lately  and a few conversations with friends on this topic got me thinking then I found this quote and couldn't hold myself back ;)
{so a little me thinks today too since I missed Monday don't know where Monday and Tuesday went and now its Wednesday  guess that means
I'm a day late...oh well here's to thinking.....
 source pinterest
because reality is the majority of us
have some love handles, maybe some chunky thighs, a bit of cellulite,
a muffin top , some back fat
healthy relief society arms and some of us aren't blessed with super sonic speed metabolic burning bodies... and....
{of course that doesn't mean we can't dream, train and achieve,
a healthy body and image} but...
truth is most of us don't look like the super models splashed everywhere we look and the clothes they wear and  we buy....
we'll still never look like them
fact is  photoshop and airbrushing, magazines, plastic surgery, exploitation  of women..... makes us feel like we have a standard to live up too that isn't even close to reality,
a very twisted perception on what is beauty
truth is sometimes no matter how much we exercise and eat right we'll always want to be something else...never good enough in our own eyes there will always be I wish I could lose ? lbs or I wish this was and I wish I could be...... on and on whatever it is for each of us.. instead of just being happy .....
If we worked on our inner package of perfection more than concentrating  so highly on the outer package and got rid of the judging thoughts on ourself and others..... the self loathing..... the low self confidence and esteem ...........
as much time as we stress over and about our outer package of perfection..which is never attainable to begin with... things might be different if we focused more on what we teach our children.... its whats inside that counts when that starts happening things will change on the outside too.
....we need to do the best with what we've been given and what we've got...stop comparing... somebody will always be skinny than us, pretty than us, smarter then us, run more marathons than us, have a better blog than us, look like life is perfect compared to us...... and so on and so on. We are who we are UNIQUE individuals all with our own vices with something to offer and something to learn....the faster we figure that out the better we'll be. I kind of think its a super hard thing to do in this life but knowing what matters most will get us the farthest.

5. Loved spending time with these two together over the past school year....I'm so glad I get to be at home with them.... {all} {M is giving a creepy face here but thats the joy of M you never know what you'll get still my cute boys!}

6. We got trees planted, flower beds planted and lawns done before the rains came....{excuse the hideous skull D thinks he's funny... yuck .......and yes K is wearing his PJ's to mow he had done the backyard and was going to bed but then decided he wanted to help mow the front too after so whatever D taught him how to put the gas in and to mow that night he did a awesome job! } We are slowly getting somewhere probably in time to sell it and move jks!

7. We had a gopher stuck in our garage for three days before it either died in there or got smart enough and ran out! Creepy rodent! K suggested we shot it ......great thought if it weren't in the garage....in a field for sure!

8. This is a great fast workout it takes 35 minutes and your sweating {its kind of like 30 day shred..... but not so unbearable..... that you can't do it the next day without dying :)

{you'll need this for #9}

9. These are to die for good my kids devoured them and I probably had a few too....of course lemon cause I love anything lemon......

Lemon Crinkle Cookies
Makes 2-3 dozen

Ingredients:
½ cups butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
½ teaspoons vanilla extract
1 whole egg
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
¼ teaspoons salt
¼ teaspoons baking powder
⅛ teaspoons baking soda
1-½ cup all-purpose flour
½ cups powdered sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease light colored baking sheets with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Whip in vanilla, egg, lemon zest, and juice. Scrape sides and mix again. Stir in all dry ingredients slowly until just combined, excluding the powdered sugar. Scrape sides of bowl and mix again briefly. Pour powdered sugar onto a large plate. Roll a heaping teaspoon of dough into a ball and roll in powdered sugar. Place on baking sheet and repeat with remaining dough.
Bake for 9-11 minutes or until bottoms begin to barely brown and cookies look matte {not melty or shiny}. Remove from oven and cool cookies about 3 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.
*If using a non-stick darker baking tray, reduce baking time by about 2 minutes.

10. Here is a Fun printable for fathers day so cute.... here is my favorite so far that I've found for decor fun anyway...

The non-sport fanatic workaholic kind of men in our lives? Anybody?

{ TEN on Tuesday }

source ?

1. ........Except its Thursday ;)....... I love 10 on any day but 10 on Tuesday sounds better....HOW did it get to be June already wasn't it just Christmas??

2. I've started jogging with K early and love our talks he seems more grown up these days and told me a couple mornings ago that he wants to be treated like a big kid??  {which he always really has been} tweener already?? I told him with age comes responsibility and to enjoy being a kid. I think he is enjoying the early mornings and time by himself.
He's such a good kid!

3. My baby M finished preschool that is crazy.... time flies a whole nother school year has flown by !
HALLELUJAH KINDERGARTEN !!
I may just be the first parent who pays to send there kid morning and afternoon J/K! Not that I haven't had secret thoughts like that! He just loves being busy and school is a very good place for him!

4. I've learned a few things about myself through pinterest google it if you don't know what it is....anyway I apparently love all things
YELLOW AQUA/TEAL/ and gray,

I love anything to do with lemons, umm especially these which aren't easy to come by...

I love polka dots and
big beautiful white kitchens

I'm dying to go to
IRELAND FRANCE ENGLAND and ITALY
and I love fruit and awesome quotes
and cardigans, ruffles, and stripes....
It's ALL TRUE...I DO

5. I am so thankful for the handyman do- it- all jack of trades kind of man that lives with me...... for now he fixed the dishwasher just don't open it when its running ;) or we'll have flood so for now when the kids are sleeping and not around I'll run it but it sure beats hand washing!!!! love him!!!!

6. I want to be a rep for this company

but for some reason I'm dragging my feet ...maybe I'm scared to fail not sure? But if there was ever any at home party I would have the drive to do its food storage so why don't I just dive in??? Maybe this is why?? WOULD this be something you'd come to or be interested in???

7.  I can't do flats I feel chubby and my jeans end up under them its probably just me but us short girls need a little hight I have issues I know! Other people look so cute in there flats...... I've even bought some thought I could do it...... but gave them to my sister who is taller than me she loves them....... I can't do them :(
psychological freak I am...... I know issues j/k

8. I can't wait to get our deck done, trees planted, landscaping done, have a second vehicle we need one really bad, I can't wait for D and I to get away in our yearly July trip, {a break for me work for him} finding babysitters for so many kids is really hard when you go away without kids!! I'm already stressing over it!
I can't wait to spend days on the lake, camping, seeing family we don't see very often and celebrate some fun parties, go to wicked, and enjoy the sun!!
I guess I can't wait for SUMMER.
