summer is......
this stinker

.... stuffing a green pom pom craft fuzzy up his nose this morning and spending 2 hours at the clinic {which we thought was a craft bead the whole time till it got pulled out!} while he's fighting everyone around him and it takes 1 DR 1 dad 1 mom and 1 nurse holding him down to get the dang thing out 2 hours later!!!  thrashing hitting kicking and sneezing...what a boy!!! I could have screamed it was so frustrating!! Good thing he is so dang cute!
.....and fyi if you have a bead up your kids nose or whatever try mouth to mouth while plugging the unstuffed nostril and blow hard into his mouth {mouth to mouth} if it were a bead or some other object its supposed to pop out hence the reason it didn't pop out when I had to do it 3 times sorry but it WAS DISGUSTING!!!!! and it didn't even work because it was a big fuzzy not a BEAD!!
MORALE of the story just don't put what doesn't belong up your nose!!!

and some food for thought...since I missed me thinks...

...."The pursuit of happiness is a matter of choice...it is a positive attitude we consciously choose to express. It is not a gift that gets delivered to our doorstep each morning, nor does it come through the window. And I am certain that our circumstances are just a small part of what makes us joyful. If we wait for them to get just right, we will never find lasting joy.
The pursuit of happiness is an inward journey. Our minds are like   programs, awaiting the code that will determine behaviors; like bank vaults awaiting our deposits. If we regularly deposit positive, encouraging, and uplifting thoughts, if we continue to bite our lips  just before we begin to grumble and complain, if we shoot down that seemingly harmless negative thought as it germinates, we will find that there is much to rejoice about.

 --------------------
The more years that go by I realize even more that not much else matters in this life than the memories we make, the relationships between our families and how we spend the time we have and what we do with it. Having a testimony and sharing it, serving others and loving our Heavenly Father who created us and our saviour who died for us.
That is true happiness--- NOTHING else matters.
We don't need the fanciest house and all the best of the best to be happy, The best cars the stuff cause in the end it won't make one bit of difference.
Its the memories, the love and the devotion to the things that matter that make the real difference.
I think there is no greater tribute in this life as parents,  to watch all your children be in the same place at the same time, good kids, married for time and all eternity and starting families of there own making good choices and carrying on a legacy, carrying on what we've been taught, teaching our children.
I feel that learning from where we've come from turning it around getting past the things that don't matter anymore and making our homes a bit of heaven on earth is the most important things we can do not only for ourselves but for our children most of all.
There isn't time for misunderstandings, for offence ,for mistrust and hurt.
I love my families I am so lucky to be apart of three amazing families that make my life what it is. I have great brothers and brothers in laws, beautiful sisters and sister in laws, parents both sets, nieces nephews grandparents and so on. I feel blessed to be apart of something so amazing that will last not only now but forever for eternity. What a blessing.
Family is all we got no matter what stage of life we are in.
Life is short.
&
Life is GOOD.
But
Life is what you make it too.
Have a great weekend.
-----------------------------------------------

Near the end of his life, one father looked back on how he had spent his time on earth. An acclaimed, respected author of numerous scholarly works, he said, 'I wish I had written one less book and taken my children fishing more often.'
"Time passes quickly. Many parents say that it seems like yesterday that their children were born. Now those children are grown, perhaps with children of their own. 'Where did the years go?' they ask. We cannot call back time that is past, we cannot stop time that now is, and we cannot experience the future in our present state. Time is a gift, a treasure not to be put aside for the future but to be used wisely in the present."

people to love, places to go and things to look forward to....
BE THANKFUL

Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire. If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don't know something, for it gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations, because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you're tired and weary, because it means you've made a difference.
It's easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.
