Since its Valentines Day I'm thankful for the love of my life. D. I LOVE THIS MAN. {I love my kids too but I always write about them.} So today I'm thankful for this man I love the friendship we share, the time we spend together and I love us and what we mean to each other. I love to LIVE, LAUGH AND LOVE with this man!Today well actually Feb 15 11 years ago at the end of a long date we got engaged. We have been through 11 years of love and learning and growing but I'm thankful for all I've learned along the journey. Going through lots of schooling -bachlors and masters degrees at Utah State and U of S was hard--but D worked so hard he got schlorships and awards along the way so many that by the time we were done we did it debt free but not without alot of sweat and tears (mostly on my part the tears part anyway) and bad jobs for both of us to get through. Now D has the job of his dreams and loves it - he is a great boss and does a great job juggling family, work and bishopric duties. I appreciate his efforts in balancing his time more then he knows.So life over the last almost eleven years has brought us lots of joy and dissapointments like 6 failed fertility treatments alot of tears and frusterations but we are a stronger couple because of it and better parents I think because of the struggles in becoming parents, 3 adoptions produced 3 beautiful children who mean the world to us and can't imagine life any other way without them, 12 moves later, lots of trips later, love and learning has brought us this far in life and I'm excited for an eternity more as long as D is beside me all the way (cheesy I know ) but it is Valentines day. We are busy and love life. D is my best friend we get along so well and laugh alot, and take each day at a time. I'm so THANKFUL for him he makes me a better person, he is a wonderful father, a great example to us and all he works with. He works hard and does what is right. Somedays I wonder how I got so lucky and blessed to have D in my life.

Awww......I LOVE it! You captured every corner of his personality in those photos. You are truly blessed. What a wonderful tribute to him and to your friendship and marriage. You both sure have been through a lot together. By the way....you have a "D" just like I have a "D". Cool, eh? Another thing in Common. : D
