Well another summer full of memories..
and another last fling at summer this weekend
we got some camping in...
some hiking and some wicked wind ha ha
crazy how fast it goes by ...
I will have a 1st, 3rd and 5th grader now that is crazy..
and one cute little K2 to hang out with all day long..
It really is like Christmas eve around here we all are excited to get back into some routine and structure..the kids are feeling it and so am I.
We had a fun get together tonight with the "neighborhood" +plus ....corn bust tonight in our backyard and it really was a lot of fun our awesome neighbors brought over there astro jump and the hundred kids running around were entertained.
The perfect note and night to end summer off with :)
We really have had a very packed fun summer and enjoyed all the great new memories we made together..I just love my little family!!

SO question am I the only one who makes my kids shower every morning?? Because I was looking for morning routine charts today and not one of them said shower or bath?? I know my friends already think I'm weird that I do but am I the only one?
Or how about brushing your teeth when you first wake up? Why not after you eat breakfast before they head out doesn't that make more sense?? What do you have your kids do?

Actually I use to have my kids to that when the oldest first started school....but then mornings just got WAY to hectic. Especially now with Seminary on the plate. So for years now it's showers or bath at night just before bed. I love it much better. Clean kids, clean pj's...means clean sheets. Love it. Just wake up and you're still clean. If someone got sick or had a rough feverish night...then yeah....shower in the morning. But whatever works. That was just us. You should make your own chart and put it out there on the net. ; )
Teeth brushing? Well....now that's where my friends think I'm weird. HA ha. I insisted that the kids brushed their teeth after breakfast......after they came home for lunch......after supper. Just before bed. Always before you walked out the door for anything. Whether you already brushed your teeth already after a meal or not. lol. Drove the kids nuts. But whatever......I pay the dental bills. Ha!

My kids shower in the morning. One tries to get out of it every morning and sometimes when he is running late he does but honestly, puberty is going to hit that boy soon and I don't want him being teased at school about stinking.
it's always brush teeth after breakfast. Otherwise the food tastes gross. IMO
I am all about showering in the morning. I'm finding with all thaws girls those some may have to shower at night. We will blow a fuse with all the blow drying that would be happening. I've never understood why people brush their before eating and not after. You are not werid.

Shower. Isn't that just for Sundays? Ha! You know me! We change from nights to mornings depending what is going on. And ALWAYS brush after breakfast not before, gross!
