Well its been three weeks since my last post and it was starting to get neglected so I thought it was about time to get some thoughts and thinks out cause we all know I got plenty of those:) I just find myself running here and there and getting busy with things that life gets away on me, but really its the good life stuff that matters.
some me thinks thoughts today....
I've been putting my phone down more and concentrating on the my kids more and being more present. With the sickening stuff in government trying to pass and that has been passed I'm feeling overwhelmed & physically ill sometimes on how we are supposed to make it. But it all starts at home and having stronger, more loving homes where they are learning right from wrong, that there is black and white choices and that there are consequences for our actions, and more quality family time together. Its important and they are only here for a few short years till they are out on there own. Scary ahhh.
YESTERDAY in RS the teacher gave a lesson I most definitely needed to hear that goes with what I just said I often wonder how older people have been able to handle all the change and decline in life all around them over the past 80...90..years

.....So I hope you won’t believe all the world’s difficulties have been wedged into your decade, or that things have never been worse than they are for you personally, or that they will never get better. I reassure you that things have been worse and they will always get better. They always do—especially when we live and love the gospel of Jesus Christ and give it a chance to flourish in our lives. …
Contrary to what some might say, you have every reason in this world to be happy and to be optimistic and to be confident. Every generation since time began has had some things to overcome and some problems to work out.".........

“When [the difficulties of mortality] humble us and refine us and teach us and bless us, they can be powerful instruments in the hands of God to make us better people.”

 --------------------------------------------------------------
SOO about the happy optimistic and confident part....
here are some happenings around here lately:
Besides keeping up with a teenager and littles that keeps me on my toes and add in a very sick husband over the last couple of weeks ........we are finally getting him better and thankfully none of us has caught it whatever he had knock on wood;) :

....Its been crazy warm, windy and rainy, sunny no snow left and none in the forecast kinda scary and a bit weird for here and February not good for moisture. Kinda hitting my jan/feb blah months where I need to run away to somewhere warm  and feel the winter 5 :( but nothing in site:((
I ran outside today and it felt heavenly then the horrid wind came up:( but the sunrises and sunsets have been amazing too!
We put on a valentines its all about love week day meeting activity at church it was fun and turned out good and lots of people came which is the goal so that was what its all about!
Had to match the decor too;) cause I'm a nerd like that ha ha:)

....Subbed a bit and had quite a few meetings to attend.... from church to school council to the ones I call "the resistance" meetings standing up for our rights and seeing what we can do..... its so crazy how people just think this will pass but more of our rights will be taken away as parents as citizens it is our right to fight for family for a voice for our children our grandchildren our families..... so that's just what we will do....... with our own title of liberty the family proclamation:) love this meme so so true!
With our world today becoming similar to the deteriorating Nephite society in the Book of Mormon, one document in particular provides clarity and guidance. http://lds.org/family/proclamation Let us “make [the proclamation] a banner not unlike General Moroni’s ‘title of liberty,’ and commit ourselves to live by its precepts.” –Elder M. Russell Ballard http://lds.org/ensign/2013/09/still-a-clarion-call LIKE and SHARE if you agree. http://facebook.com/189155347799517:

Loving this new lip stuff too from almay...pretty sure they are probably all amazing as the one I like:)

Lately going through online shopping withdrawals since the exchange is SO BAD! everything is about 2/3's more and that just don't make it worth it to a deal seeker:((  but looking for some Canadian boutiques if anybody has any ideas:)) F21 sometimes has good stuff but anything else?

....working on getting this trip organized just not sure exactly when yet:( {not the family part but the D & I part;) Its been my dream for so long I almost don't even know where to begin from Dublin to Paris to yorkshire:)) So much to see and do! and now a passport renewal in there too...

SO its been busy but before we know it this big house will be empty with no little hand prints on the walls or sock sliding wars on the hardwood floors..... so we are enjoying the journey and are grateful for every good thing there still is and fighting for the rest of Good:)
Because that's life right!

Have you seen this: WE could all do with some more positive in our lives and most definitely our children could....

Perfect theme for this years youth and each of us:

“Ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men.”
—2 Nephi 31:20

Make it a good one.
