Pressing Forward over here on so many levels......
Wow I don't think life slows down anytime soon does it! I suppose I should enjoy every minute of ups and downs because someday these littles won't be littles and they'll be all grown up. Just thinking of that makes me sad:( For a portion of the day I am alone in this big house on the lake.... cleaning, fixing, doing laundry, vacuuming, taxi ing.....running errands and I actually love it, because its a daily reminder of what I have and have been blessed with. I feel like if we had insight to the different roads we could have taken, wanted to take, never thought of roads we would hold on tighter to the one we have because overall its better than any we could have dreamed up even on a bad day.
At least for me, I know every story is different but this is mine and for real not a day goes by in my prayers that I don't thank my Heavenly Father. For being born where I was, to have the Gospel and a strong testimony, to have the family I do. All three of them because they teach me all the things I want to be, wish to be and the things I wish not to be too. I thank Him for my plan B, for all four of our beautiful birth mothers who chose us to be these babies eternal family. For the beauty it brings my life every day and the gratitude I feel at each milestone, each heartache, each joy, each situation no matter how hard, easy, uplifting or heartbreaking it may be. I know we are blessed to have each other to learn and grow together to make it through the good and bad together. Because out of every alternate route that could have been..... this one is eternally and undeniably the way its meant to be and I am beyond thankful for that.
I guess this all comes from feeling like my kids are growing up so fast in this crazy world. They are all so amazing and I really want to keep them that way happy, healthy, and wholesome...innocent for that much longer.
Cause this is happening...
well this has happened yesterday he was one excited boy!
what the heck I can't handle it! Stop growing up so fast children please!
SO anyway....Spring is here I guess we didn't have much of a winter but with softball for Ms. L and soccer for M and K2 and spring league ball for K & M we are going to be busy! But keeping them busy with good things and learning and growing and building can only be good {on everything but our bank account right;)
We've had a rough couple weeks with friend issues, recess loneliness issues, no pokemon at school issues ha ha M thinks the world ended its his favorite thing, then bball issues and hurt feelings all where you just want to make it all better or keep them home forever...... but they have to learn to overcome and stand up and learn to make mistakes along the way too.... its all part of growing up....
In other news my awesome husband and sister and brother in laws threw me a surprise party last weekend {yes my birthday was in jan so I was extra surprised;) but it was so fun to get together and I am so thankful and blessed to have them!
We've had kub kar races and fun times....
and K got his chief scout award so dang proud of him and all his hard work such a great kid!
...and L is a busy girl lately too she is babysitting every Tuesday night for a friend and learning to make meals and pester her brothers;) She's having a great year and its more than hard to believe she will be in JR High next year too!!
........and my Sweet K2 who continually finds it hard to wake up and go to school but he is loving learning and lately wants to do what all the big kids are doing. Lots of "when do I get to build a kub kar with Dad" etc so fun to watch them grow but its interesting to see how each handles every situation that comes along.... see he loves to wake up ;) probably have to pause the music if your on a pc:)
Fitting for this post:)

Have a great week:)
