Wow its been awhile its been a crazy summer busy, full and different that's for sure but good. Weird that I just posted last day of school pics and now its almost the end of august! My computer switched itself over to windows 10 which messed up my computer so I haven't been able to post anything but today lets hope it works:)
Summer Happenings
We've had swim lessons & swim club and lost teeth....
tennis lessons for a couple of the kids and L helped coach that too
we had our lake vacation to Montana tally lake and lots of family
long days of fun....
we've had ranch parties ward parties
ward boundary changes
er visits and ortho apts
Family here from all over and trips to waterton and the pool and dinners and all sorts of summer fun:)
hikes and water days and lots of cousin fun...
birthdays K2 turned 7!! Campfires and hot dogs, marshmallows and quiet was all he wanted.....
L got to go to her first Young Womens Camp a couple of weeks ago too and loved it she is so excited to go to YW's
and L turned 12 yesterday!!
...and K gets up at 5am and heads to full days working like a man branding, fencing whatever they have him do. Till 4-5 at night its pretty awesome! Its been amazing for him! And he's making money! He is learning so much this summer how to work hard, get up set up his rides and take care of his stuff and I'm so proud of him! He's a pretty great kid! He's growing up so fast and so tall and is 90% of the time awesome;) the other 10% is teenager attitude;) But sure love them all!
Love when they are nice to each other too and not fighting;)
D had been busier than any summer I remember the boat has hardly been out and he didn't even get to ski till we got the boat out this month!! That's terrible! He's been to Florida and a Canada wide beef conference { he's on the Alberta Beef Producers board} anyway he spoke at it to over 700 people and with the dragon den lady Arlene ........so he's had a few adventures his self so proud of him! He is amazing and people have no idea what other things this humble man does but I can toot his horn;) because he for sure won't! Sure love this bunch of crazies!
and me...
well I've been a great maid;) trying to keep up with everybody and feeling like I want to run away to the Bahamas or somewhere. Seriously some days I feel like my kids are out of control and have no manners or been taught anything then I feel like a bad mom!
Some appreciation or gratitude would go along way too but I know that's pushing it;) such a thankless job we do isn't it.... miraculously everything gets done around here;)
But for reals they get so crazy and like every year about this time I realize how much they thrive so much better on routine and schedule.... as do I...
One of my only solaces is running in the early morning where I can sort my head out..and see things like this.....peace.

I'm so glad you took time to blog. I always love it! It's crazy K is already working so much. When did he grow up?! That's awesome though.
