Well another week, another day. Today I'm most thankful that I have my husband. I'm lucky to have him and blessed another day and another year to have him we take so much for granted, when it could be ripped from us in 5 minutes. Our whole life could be so different and change in a matter of minutes.
I've thought alot about this, this week how we never know what is going to happen. Becca never knew that after kissing her husband goodbye that 5 minutes down the road he would die in a tragic accident because he HAPPENED to be that car, at that time, in that place, that got hit. It breaks my heart it could have been any of our husbands or fathers or sons.
Each day is such a gift. I want to be a better mother, better wife and a better friend. Sometimes we can find out something that changes the way we look at life, the way we see things and the way we do things and look at life with a deeper meaning and cause. This is one of those weeks.
SO on a lighter note yesterday was the busiest day ever for along time! My poor kids spent half the day in the burb listening to monsters inc on tape! But they did really good. First since I'm room mom for Kolt's class I was called to help with lice checks that went fine. Then I had the "cater" a meal for D's work they had an HR training seminar with some headquarter people from Florida, so I had to take doughnuts and juice for there break. Then sloppy joes in the crockpot, a salad and some cookies chips and juice for lunch for 15 people it was actually nice to know that I could do it and that there was more then enough. SO it turned out just fine I was actually quite nervous. Then I had a birthday lunchoen for the relief society sisters who have a birthday in January it was nice but Lauren and Masen were so tired and grouchy that I couldn't even relax. Oh well thats life. So then I had a primary meeting last night here at my house so I had to get everything cleaned and straightened up and get what I needed done for the meeting. It was a long day and I'm glad I got to relax for a minute with D and watch AI so fun. But glad that day is over.
Thankful thursday -what are you most thankful for??
Make it a good day, use it wisely, make it matter. I like that.

WOw Christal! Go girl! Looks like you could have used a few extra hands yesterday. And......I can still see you smiling in between the lines. Amazing. Your catered lunch sounded perfect. Did anyone say thanks? : D
Ya they all told D he has a pretty awesome wife j/k totally joking!!
As long as D was happy and thought it was good then I'm happy they all told D that it was nice to have a home cooked meal instead of take out. Coming from a bunch of cowboys I'll take that!!
