I'm thankful for so much.. everything I use everyday, especially right now with the Haiti crisis I think we all feel a little spoiled for the things we have... because we are spoiled and we have no idea what it would be like without,
that being said some of my favorite things
I'm thankful for this week...
that being said some of my favorite things
I'm thankful for this week...
.... ever since I found out all the million things I am allergic too I've found some pretty awesome products sometimes I have to spend a little more money, but I'm finding its totally worth it.. this is one of them K2 gets the best of the best ..this is 98% natural and I love the smell, I love everything about it and its only $6.99 at target and I've only used two in six months so worth it good for baby...... good for me...I love when these three munchkins are laughing and playing {and not fighting } my favorite time is when I'm cooking dinner I usually have had my done point for the day by then, so I tell them to get ready for bed, and play together sometimes they watch a movie, sometimes they slide down the stairs and laugh and laugh, then we all feel better and have a nice dinner together !! I'm so thankful for the break and the laughter I hope they always remember these fun times together!
okay i'm thankful for new recipes that taste so good. We tried this one the other night and its SO GOOD the kids had bowl after bowl of it. Next I'm trying the bread bowls with it! It tastes just like when you get it at the restaurant so many great food recipes on this site...
I'm loving the getting up early routine its working!!, showered, prayers said, scriptures read, music playing, breakfast cooking mornings!! They are going SO much better so much calmer and I know its all me..... Feeling ACCOMPLISHED before 7 am is an awesome feeling~!My kids' favorite muffins are banana chocolate chip muffins they are so good don't you love having certain foods where your kids are so excited you made it that you feel like such a great mom... I have days like that.... they make me happy!
Here is the recipe:
BANANA CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS
1 cup flour
1/2 cup rolled oats {i throw in some wheat germ 2 sometimes}
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup margarine/butter {i just use becel}
1 1/2 cups for mashed bananas
3/4 bag milk chocolate chips
Mix banana sugar and butter in blender till smooth, dump in bowl mix dry ingred, mix together, last drop in egg mix and add chocolate chips.
Bake at 350 for 15 min {we do mini muffins usually so good!}
{i did bran muffins for me at the same time..}

Okay I love these little individual baby food containers they are awesome, with K2 its all natural foods... make my own and freeze I never did that with my other kids not sure why its not hard at all! K2 has had {rice cereal, barley, and oatmeal,} and peas, applesauce, potatoes, beans, carrots, peaches all from what we eat or have for dinner just extras pureed and put into containers its not hard at all. Not sure why I never did it with my other kids!
He loves his food and eats so much....
....but I may need one of these soon for when he thinks its funny to spit that means done! But sometimes I'm not quick enough! Yuck! feeding and potty training are my least favorite duties!!

He loves his food and eats so much....

Oh we should be grateful for all we have. It is so hard for me to watch the news. I pray for their relief. Thanks for helping be more grateful for all the little things we have and use every day. I love you pics....especailly the one with L feeding K2. How precious is that?
You get the fabric and I'll do the apron!
I LOVE when people post their favorite products! I almost always buy at least one of them! I'm SO wishing we had a costco, that jam looks divine!
I want your schedule! We seem to be night owls and sleeping in lately... not a fan of that! I guess I need an attitude adjustment! ;) Love the dinner time routine too, sounds like our house! Have a great weekend!
Cute apron! I am on the list for a draw for a really cute one with ruffles. Crossing my fingers...and toes. LOL!
Like Cassie and you we LOVE The Costco jam. My favorite is peach and mango or passionate fruit.
Thanks for the recipes!! You know I Am all about the good. : D
Love favorite things posts.
em's loves sweet potatoes, not regular though. my kids are strange that way. i'm ordering some of those containers for sure.
the apron super cute. i'm attempting one soon. i got my sewing machine fixed.
k2 is adorable. i just love looking at pictures of him
we are so blessed here. we really have more than we need. we are blessed to have the things we want too!! love ya
Great list of lots of great things!!! (ever seen the cook book called First Foods by Annabel Karamel?? It is all about feeding kids and is sooo good!)
Such a cute apron!
I made my baby food too. I froze it in the cubes of my Tupperware ice cube tray because it had a snap on lid for freshness. Froze my breast milk that way too, yep TMI. But I could pop the frozen cubes out and bag them up. Each cube was about an ounce of milk.
I hear ya on the kids getting excited about the food we make. My kids aren't eaters, so when they want to eat it makes me happy!
I love getting going and having a calm and peaceful morning, too. That is definitely the best way to start the day! And those muffins look yummy!
That apron is so cute!! Have a great day Christal! :)
I love the Burt's Bees products too!! Ryker has such sensitive skin, so I started using this shampoo for him when he was a baby. Love it! And I keep hearing about people making their own baby food and have been thinking I'll start. You make it sound so easy. :) I'll have to try your muffin recipe...sounds yummy! Always so much to be thankful for!
I make most of Kennedy's baby food too. My magic bullet makes it so easy. Not to mention it's less expensive if you make your own.
Thanks for sharing the link for the Broccoli Soup! I was feeling adventurous today and made it with the bread bowls. So Good! Everyone loved it! Thanks again.
