....Just like that seems so crazy for the whole month its run run run especially with all the things our kids have from parties to school concerts, choirs and birthday in there craziness but so fun I love December and I love the feel of it all!
I had this awesome post written in my head on DEC 22 10 years from that day we picked up our first beautiful baby boy Kolten... its a day I will never forget and a Christmas present that will never compare to anything. love this boy and I really really can't believe he is 10..... 10 years since I have worked {i was a teachers assistant for about 7 years before that, and now I have four beautiful children CRAZY :)
So from this beautiful perfect handsome boy!
to this older handsome version of that cute little baby boy...
for his birthday he got his ipod he's been praying for so he was super excited! He is responsible and we get to control the music so hopefully it all works out!
Then onto Christmas eve we had a family get together soup and buns at our house for the afternoon, played games did our program and played games and then most went to there other side of the family it was a fun afternoon and fun to see family we haven't seen in a long time!
Crazy times for sure!

.....then came Christmas day it was a fun day fun that church was on Sunday too gave the spirit and tone for the reason for the season loved it! We went to a different ward and throughly enjoyed the program ....it was a good day....
ps I joined the 21st century too and got an iphone 4s from D and I have to say I love it! I got a sewing machine too so now I have some work to do to catch up with all you domestic people ;) cause I don't sew but I do want to learn :)
AND I HAVE ONE GREEN SIGN LEFT TO
10 years old..... Wow!

And my project this Christmas was a craft I made for neighbor gifts I like to give something that can be used each Christmas too...so I did this sign I had seen on Barn owl primitives mine aren't as awesome as there's but I do like how they turned out there's are $70 each .....

My resolution is to get to my goal weight during 2012 by sticking to my eating changes I've made and doing more exercising.

Well, now I have to make a new years resolution! Those signs are so cute and I seem to have good luck on your blog.. ha ha.
No but seriously, this got me thinking! I'm not usually one to make resolutions but one thing I really want to work on is treating my kids the way I want them to treat each other... taking the time for them when they need it, not being to busy to teach them something new, speaking only with love and respect.... those kinds of things.
Thanks for getting me thinking and actually setting a goal for myself ;)

My resolution is to change things as I notice they need a change. I did it last year and made quite a few changes that I am grateful I changed.

Anyway.. what I would really like to do is lose weight, but decided not to make it a resolution, so went for clean a bathroom every day,and say something to lift someone up every day x
My new years resolution? Learn more when it comes to social mediums. I am SO behind the times. We just got new phones before Christmas and it took D and I forever to even learn how to find the "on"button. lol. Sad, but true.

look at your crafty girl you! those signs are so stinkin cute! new year's resolutions are always hard for me cuz i don't like making them unless i can really see myself keeping them and sticking with it. so......not to sound repetitive, but i want to do better at treating my kids the way i want them to treat others :) after all, kids rarely listen to us but always manage to mimick us!

I usually have really great New Year's resolutions. Since we are expecting a precious little girl to join our family any day now, I hope to learn how to manage two little ones while keeping house, being a devoted wife, and working full-time. God's grace is sufficient!
Those are adorable! I want to be more patient this year...and really watch what comes out of my mouth. Too often i say things without thinking what i'm saying, let alone the tone i'm using. Not good!
Good for you taking a minute to blog during the busy time! I love those gifts, I saw Rhondas what a great idea. Besides my goal to lose the remaining baby weight and start running again I'm going to be better at planning things for my kids. You know activities, crafts, making food etc. Have a happy new year!

Christal I just love you! I wish I was your neighbor! Those signs are adorable! Looks like you had such a great new years eve. What fun games! Anyway, my greatest resolution is just to BE KIND. And to be a better example of kindness to my kids. And to hopefully help them be kinder to each other. So that we treat those at home the best. I sure love ya! Christal I have to say I just live your blog! Yes, I'm a silent blog reader! You are so inspiring to me. You make want to be a better women, wife and mother! Thank you for all your amazing uplifting posts I look forward to them all! My resolution, I'm not big on them but I really want to teach my girls to love the scriptures. They are young but that is where it starts! We have our chart and are starting off good! Also I am really trying to be be kinder in my words and actions to my sweet little family. I want the spirit to always shine through so they can have it with them too! Thanks again you truly are amazing thanks for your example!
