I'll post more later but happy birthday Kolten!!! 6 years ago Darren and I were so so happy after waiting almost 5 years our baby was born to a wonderful birthmother who made us a family!!! I'll write more but right now I'm getting the house pirate "ized" 6 friends ! Gotta run !
I'm back it was a good party turned out fun Kolten was happy and thats what counts! The cake was by far the ugliest one I've done I'll post a picture but its pirates sinking in quicksand funny thing is Kolten's friends come over and the boys are like cool there sinking then they like act it out. It was too funny!! I still think its pretty sad ! But D came home and hung out with us all and helped out. They played tag and musical chairs and then I just let them play together for awhile they had pizza and cake and ice cream then a treasure map ( almost burnt the house down making it cause I burned all the edges and ya well some edges got away on me so I turned on the tap ) So it looked good and they found there treasure goody bag in the BBQ out on the deck! They loved it!! SO one more thing to check off my long list of things to do before Christmas got our presents to neighbours and all done on Wed night. So now we have Kolten's school concert tonight its going to be so fun!! I can't believe my baby is 6!! One of these days I'll write about Kolten's adoption story.
I'm just so Thankful ( since today is Thursday ) for kolten we are so blessed to have him and can't image life without him -- without our trials we wouldn't have the priviledge to be his parents, to know him and to enjoy him. He is a wonderful boy and a great friend to all he is caring and considerate, kind and giving. He gives awesome prayers and is one good lookin kid!!! I love you Kolten!!

Happy Birthday Kolten! Can you even believe he and Hattie are getting that old?! It seems like yesterday they were 2 and 3 and boyfriend and girlfriend on the trampoline! Haha! Too cute!
What a beautiful tribute to your first born!! Love it. I bet your children feel so loved. What an awesome adoption story.....hope to hear more some day. I am the oldest of 8 and 3 of my siblings are adopted. My Aunt gave up her daughter at 17, as well, and we were blessed to all have her find us just last year and join in on our family again. My one adopted brother found his birth family just right here in our own town two years ago. All of the above reunions were joyous happy and blessed. It's just made our family even bigger now! Good stories all around. Adoption is a HUGE part of my life and I thinks it's awesome that you have been blessed to be able to care for three gorgeous children who were destined to be your children right from the start. It's just that they had a different plan on how they arrived to your home. : D MERRY CHRISTMAS!
hey, did you get permission from those parents to post pics of their kids on line? LOL. I had someone ask me that once! I'm glad Kolten had such a great party. I'm holding out that in 11 years he'll date Ky. He is one serious cutie! Anyway, just wanted to say good job! (now lets see if this actually posts.)
