- so halloween was good the kids loved it all and it was so warm
- we enjoyed a fun date on saturday D and I went early and did some shopping {for the house} and finally found a central vac system that we can't wait to get set up.
- and we also finally found an affordable nice office desk/work center bookshelves all that jazz and can't wait to get that up and have a functioning organized area to work, scrapbook and keep track of the million things the kids bring home!
- then later that night we met some friends and went out to dinner just sat and talked it was nice to just relax.
- Sunday I had to train the girl who was called to be the primary secretary in our old ward so that was fun and crazy everybody there thinks I just can't bare leaving the ward so I look for any excuse to come back!{so its kind of true I'm horrible with change} But I do know the new ward will be just fine and I look forward to meeting lots of new people.
- Then while we were in our meetings Masen escaped nursery {apparently I didn't let them know that he can open any doors and likes to escape obviously..} cause he went into the next wards sacrament meeting and roamed around there nice eh! But it wasn't because of my neglect haha! Poor third warders probably think who the heck is that kid and who's the rotten parent just letting him distract everybody.. don't even want to know what he was doing in there!!
- so then last night {we can finally have company and feel like there is room to entertain } so we had some friends over and their four kids it was alot of fun, the meal turned out good and we had a great time and the kids all played even the older boys played hide and seek with my kids they were in heaven {my kids}! Just so nice to have the room to do it now.
- I got some craft projects finally done {some are for christmas so I'm hoping a couple of my sil don't read my blog lol!} Just need to figure out how to hang the wreath one on my outside door! And got my wall redone to the smaller letters its not screaming at us anymore and we love it!

Me thinks
Mrs R just wrote about this {she is awesome if you haven't checked out her blog do.. she also just recieved a little baby boy through adoption a couple months ago ..}
anyway this is a talk given by Elder Russell M Nelson from the oct 2008 ensign and since it is National Adoption Month and since there is such a debate over this and so many other issues today.
I'm choosing these ones. Consider it when your voting tomorrow what you stand for and what your voting for.
---------------------------------
......"Man-made rules have now legalized that which has been forbidden by God from the dawn of time! Human reasoning has twisted and transformed absolute truth into sound-bite slogans that promote a practice that is consummately wrong.
As Latter-day Saints, we should stand up for choice—the right choice—not simply for choice as a method.
Why destroy a life that could bring great joy to others? There are better ways of dealing with an unwanted pregnancy. When a life is created by sinful behavior, the best way to begin personal repentance is to preserve the life of that child. To add another serious sin to a serious sin already committed only compounds the grief. Adoption is a wonderful alternative to abortion. Both the baby and the adoptive parents can be greatly blessed by the adoption of that baby into a home where the child will be lovingly nurtured and where the blessings of the gospel will be available."

I also want to add an excerpt from the proclamation to the family there are so many views that blow my mind out there this one statement is just the way it should be, has been and shouldn't be tampered with.
It makes sense. its plain and true and simple. I KNOW that living this way and listening and believing and living my life in accordance with this statement as well as the whole proclamation is the way it was intended for all of us to be happy in this life. I am blessed with a wonderful husband, children and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
But you know what its a scary day when the world is trying to change the very foundation of what we live and stand for. And what others before of us fought so hard for.
-------------------------
"The family is ordained of God. Marriage between man and woman is essential to His eternal plan. Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony, and to be reared by a father and a mother who honor marital vows with complete fidelity. Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities. By divine design, fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children. In these sacred responsibilities, fathers and mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners...."

I love the vinyl in your house, I want some in my house, but I'll have to wait until I'm gonna stay put somewhere first. I don't want to go to all the trouble to just have to move after....
I had a ton of fun the other night at your house, we should do that more often. It was great.
