{Thank you Holly for the design you are the best!!}Yes as in pretty much next week!! We are thrilled beyond anything. We met with two amazing birth parents in our face to face who impressed us so much with their thought provoking questions and obvious great love for this beautiful baby boy, and the waiting to hear what was going to happen just about killed us.
I found this quote the other day and I love it because it is profoundly true:
"You cannot go through an adoption without realizing that Heavenly Father loves you and is aware of the tiniest details of your life.
There are no coincidences in adoption."
I have felt it each time, I know our prayers and pleadings, fasting had and have been heard. We feel very blessed to be able to have our children all through adoption and know the Lord's hand has been in each of our adoptions to be apart of our Eternal family.
We have awesome families who love each one of them like there is no difference, because there truly is no difference.
I am overwhelmed by the love all of our birth mothers/father have of these beautiful children they want the very best for them and we try our very hardest to give them the best we can. To teach them, love them and give them every opportunity there is for them and most of all to be sealed to our family forever and have a gospel filled, loving life.

We found out this morning and told our kids they were so excited I should say the boys were , Lauren sobbed for an hour and half cause she wanted a sister. I felt so sad for her she fell asleep crying and when she woke up she was very happy to be a big sister
"even if it is a boy".
So if you have room for some extra prayers our way for the birth parents, baby and us that would be awesome! Just pray that all goes great and that he is a healthy baby!
Did I mention we are so excited to have another little boy in our home!!

I have been doing the happy dance ALL day for you guys!!! I just can't get over how quickly things are happening. Well....I am sure it has not been QUICKLY for you guys...waiting and all....but you know what I mean.

I just can't tell you how happy I am for your family. I was in your shoes only 4 months ago....wow that has gone fast. I will continue to pray for your family and that everything will go well and that the birth parents will be comforted during this difficult time. YAY!!! okay it's on the blog. i'm telling everyone i see!!! okay i may have spilled to my mom earlier today, she was around when I found out!! we are SO excited. does he make it 20 grandkids??? that means i will have 18 nieces and nephews just on one side. Best news. Let me know what you need.
oh tell Lauren that she will love having three brothers. they may be a pain when they are little, but she will love it when she is older and they will beat anybody up that looks at her wrong. she has three bodyguards for the rest of her life. nobody will mess with her!!

Oh me oh my what EXCITING news!! Excited doesn't seem like a strong enough word. I feel very strongly about adoption, not because I really know anyone that has done it (except you, and lets be honest I don't really and truly know you, just through blogging although I feel like I know you better than some of my other friends) anyways, I read a couple of Ensign articles about adoption from different viewpoints ie, birth mother, father, grandparents etc. and I was SO touched, the spirit was so strong while I read them and I bawled like a baby. So because of that experience, I love adoption and think it is so unique and amazingly special. Oh, I will definitely be hoping and praying for you guys. Its so soon!
I am SO happy for all of you!! This baby is so blessed to be coming to your family - you're amazing and you've been so patient! Can't wait to meet him.

SRSLY...BEST NEWS EVER. You had me in weeping tears yesterday!!! YAY! YAY! YAY!...and still a little jealous your baby is coming BEFORE ME...just another perk of adoption right?! (We need to relish in the perks because the can be few and far between during this process.) Congrats you guys, wish I was closer so I could photograph that little man, can't wait to meet him.
Oh, a HUGE HUGE HUGE congrats to you, Darren and the kids! I know you've been waiting and waiting for this one. Any name ideas yet? My friend and I were actually talking about Lauren's adoption yesterday and I was saying how it was the hardest and most rewarding thing I've ever done. This baby boy will be so blessed to be a part of your home.
On a side note, I understand Lauren's pain. It reminded me of the day I found out that Ty was going to be a boy. We had been so sure we were having a girl, but it was very obvious from the ultrasound that the baby was a boy. I spent that day crying, even in front of the ultrasound tech (poor girl). The next day though, I started going through Caleb's old clothes and got excited about being able to use them again. And now I can't imagine not having Ty in our lives. I guess Lauren is more like me than I thought, ha ha.
Congrats again! I am so happy for all of you and will keep you, your family, your new baby boy and his birth parents in my prayers. *BIG HUG*

I'm really happy for this new addition to your family. In my own life, my husband and I are struggling with having children. Our only option may be adoption and it's people like you that help someone like me realize that it's ok that our bodies can't carry children because there are other children out there that need loving families. I love the quote you shared too because isn't it so true. Heavenly Father is so aware of us and everything in our lives. It is His plan for us...and sometimes it just takes a lot of patience on our part for the blessings he has in store for us. I can't wait to see pictures of your little miracle. I know how Lauren feels...when my fourth brother showed up on the ultrasound I sobbed and pleaded with my mom to send him back and trade him in for a girl...turned out great though because now I wouldn't want to share my princess status with a sister. haha. I am so glad that their are wonderful people like you and D, and R&A (B's adoptive parents) that adopt these babies. Seriously, with people like you we don't have to worry about these little ones, and know that they are going to a home that was meant for them.... even if they just need us birth mom's a a rest stop on the way!!!
