summer is......
this stinker

.... stuffing a green pom pom craft fuzzy up his nose this morning and spending 2 hours at the clinic {which we thought was a craft bead the whole time till it got pulled out!} while he's fighting everyone around him and it takes 1 DR 1 dad 1 mom and 1 nurse holding him down to get the dang thing out 2 hours later!!! thrashing hitting kicking and sneezing...what a boy!!! I could have screamed it was so frustrating!! Good thing he is so dang cute!
.....and fyi if you have a bead up your kids nose or whatever try mouth to mouth while plugging the unstuffed nostril and blow hard into his mouth {mouth to mouth} if it were a bead or some other object its supposed to pop out hence the reason it didn't pop out when I had to do it 3 times sorry but it WAS DISGUSTING!!!!! and it didn't even work because it was a big fuzzy not a BEAD!!
MORALE of the story just don't put what doesn't belong up your nose!!!

and some food for thought...since I missed me thinks...
...."The pursuit of happiness is a matter of choice...it is a positive attitude we consciously choose to express. It is not a gift that gets delivered to our doorstep each morning, nor does it come through the window. And I am certain that our circumstances are just a small part of what makes us joyful. If we wait for them to get just right, we will never find lasting joy.
The pursuit of happiness is an inward journey. Our minds are like programs, awaiting the code that will determine behaviors; like bank vaults awaiting our deposits. If we regularly deposit positive, encouraging, and uplifting thoughts, if we continue to bite our lips just before we begin to grumble and complain, if we shoot down that seemingly harmless negative thought as it germinates, we will find that there is much to rejoice about.

Oh no! Little M sure gives you are work out eh? Never knew about that mouth to mouth stuff. I will have to put that in the memory bank somewhere, never know when I will need to recall it. HA HA.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Little Miss L's new hair cut. She really does look SO grown up!
And how cute are you out on the tube. I was thinking the other day while reading your last post, that I wondered if you would even go out in the water with your hair done. You rock girl! Always look hot even on the water tube! ; D
L's hair is SO cute!! They sure grow up fast! Glad you are having a great summer (besides the green cotton ball up the nose!) Always loving your great quotes! You are awesome!
Let me just say, I want your daughter's haircut. I LOVE it! So sassy and her glasses are fab. From one glasses girl to another! :) Love your blog. So so fun.
Another tip you can try next time your child gets something stuck up their nose is to get one of those little blue bulb syringes that you use to suction out a baby's nose. Fill it with water and then shoot the water fast and hard up the unstuck nostril. That should cause whatever is in the other nostril to come shooting out.
My Dad (who is a pediatrician) had to do that with my daughter b/c she had a bean up her nose. But a word of caution is that you will need towels near by b/c it causes the child to cough and it makes a mess, but it only takes a few seconds instead of a few hours!
Downside of Reader is I read this post without coming to your blog the first time so I didn't see the new header/banner. It is SO cute! Did you end up doing it with Picasa. Love love love it and you. We couldn't have had a better time staying with you guys, thanks so much for having us. Now we need to figure out when you guys can come here. Have fun at the zoo!
I hardly recognized her the other day when I saw her at the pool. She's so cute.
