{ Me Thinks Monday...}

It was such a fun weekend we left town and went camping, it was nice to relax and and the kids had so much fun, we all did!

...and with that here are our weekend memories.....
we rode over Logan's pass get to Kalispell, Montana {{and this picture isn't as bad as it looks he was laughing and the drop off wasn't to bad right there j/k!}} We had to stop for construction so we took some pics and enjoyed the beautiful scenery!
As soon as we got to the KOA we were camping at {including free hot breakfast and showers nice nice!} the kids found a huge toad..a great start to camping they were in heaven!
lots of random food they don't usually get .. lots of swimming
and chilling this boy is so awesome he loved it too.

...lots of bike rides

and paddle boats and pool time...a petting zoo...all at the campground we stayed at. We used to have lots of connections and always stayed at Echo Lake but not so much anymore.
The second day we spent at lake five with friends there and went boating D skied and barefooted so we all had fun between the periods of rain....campfires, smores lots of shopping and just relaxing...was so fun! The third day we shopped! Lucky D his favorite thing!
Oh through in a huge rain/thunder storm that lasted about 2 hours and a night with some drinking groupies in the next site over... up most of the night...fun times

no phones kind of, no ranch, no stress, so worth every minute!
I love memories in the making!!

Me Thinks
Summer is almost over and truth be told I can't wait.
Can't wait for the routine.
Can't wait for school to start.
{does anybody love the smell of new school supplies or am I just weird or maybe don't answer that lol!}

Can't wait for the kids to learn new things. Make new friends. Can't wait to see some of my own friends again.
For the kids to have things that keep them busy and tired.
School helps makes them more obedient.
Probably cause they have to listen to their teachers all day! Both my all dayers have male teachers this year and I think they will both love it!
Its been a fun summer completely filled and busy.
I just love routine and being busy with things. I'm pretty sure K does to cause I've had to put him to work alot for bugging his sibs!!
All the power to those that home school I have alot of admiration for you I just could never do it unless I absolutely had too! I'm not patient enough and I kind of like a little free time to regroup and feel energized!
I like that they learn so much and really blossom throughout the year I love to see them learn new things all the time!
I'm liking that I get to spend 2 mornings a week with just one little K2 and me
really looking forward to it...
because M will be right were he needs to be having fun, learning and growing ..I'm looking forward to what school will do for him..he is so fun so busy and so independent it should be fun...
for his teachers ha ha...
So ....I really can't wait for fall
for sweaters

for football games
for fall scents
for burning leaves i know weird but I just like it reminds me of my childhood I think...
and thanksgiving For the beauty of the changing seasons..

to feel the cool air once again....
I do enjoy where we are right now and until its over we'll enjoy all of but i'm just saying what i'm looking forward to!! I kind of think a few of you might be too!!

Here are some things the changing seasons have taught us about life…

* Nothing ever stays the same.
* Whether we are prepared or not, the changing season will come.
* Whether we are prepared or not, the changing season will go.
* Every season brings with it some form of sadness and joy.
* Every season brings with it a lesson to learn, if not many.
* We may make new friends when the changing season comes.
* We may lose friends when the changing season goes.
* Seasons seem to come upon us really fast, sometimes even instantly, without any warning.
* Yet, strangely, seasons often seem to stay a bit too long.
* This is where Faith perseveres, for God always has a purpose.

To be aware of the seasons changing… is to live.

To enjoy and appreciate them… is to live well."

Have an awesome week.
..stay turned for L's 6th bday post..coming up..

LOL!!!!!! The first picture of you throwing M over cracks me up! So funny!

My sister and her husband are at Echo Lake this week. You just missed them. But it looks like your new camping spot is FAB!!! What fun. I loved seeing all that you guys did. Especially the stress free smile on D's face. Couldn't get any better than that, eh?

I can't wait for FALL too!! Candi and I were just talking about that. I love the fall scents and the fall clothes. There's something so comfy about that.

Dean and I joked with the kids about taking off to Utah again in Oct. so all we had to do was come back just in time for them to have Thanksgiving dinner all ready for us the second we walked back into the house. You should of heard the groans! HA HA.

Sounds like your weekend was great. We decided to head the other direction and went to Great Falls. It was fun, in a shopping all day kind of way.
I am so excited for school too. I think the kids are too. Which is good.

Looks like SO MUCH FUN! What campground did you stay at? We always camp in Kalispell, would be nice to try a new campsite next time.

I'm looking forward to fall too. This summer weather was so crappy it might as well have been fall. LOL!

I totally know what you mean about not being able to wait for fall. And believe me, I'm a lover of summer. But today the weather is a little cool and crisp and it makes me really excited for fall and jeans and sweaters (and no longer sweating! haha). Besides my husband has had to work a lot so I'm excited to spend some time with him this fall. Hmmm maybe I'll do a post about this too ;)

I love the smell of school supplies too! I love school shopping. It's one of my favorite things to do. I love the smell of leaves and all that fall brings.

We saw the Whitefish KOA on the highway. Wonder how it differs from the KOA by West Glacier. What were the prices for campsites? Funny I'm asking though, we'll probably stick with the Apgar site, $20 US a night.

Yeah right that drop off isn't that bad. You are on Logan's Pass silly.
glad you had a great getaway with the family.
where the heck did you shop?, there was nothing down there when I was there. It was the in between time though.
I'll be honest I am not hoping for fall anytime too soon. I don't know if you have been around but the weather has kind of been a little crappy this summer. Sweaters make me slightly claustrophobic sometimes, but they do cover that extra flab I was going to get rid of in the the summer. Fall does smell good though, I'm all about smells.
School supplies make me giddy. I'm in trouble when I have children that go to school. Shall we shop together then and make fools of ourselves sniffy and smelling.
have a good week. Hope L had a great birthday. She really is a sweetheart.

Your weekend looked like a total blast! That place is so beautiful. What fun family moments. You totally got me anxious and ready for fall too! I LOVE everything about it. I just got a new velour suit in the mail today from Victoria Secret and I just wanted to snuggle in it all day! lol. I love sweaters and jackets and fall smells and all that fabulous stuff too!!!!

I am looking forward to fall too. I love summer and we still have some fun things planned, but I am excited to be back in a routine.

How fun that you had a vacation with just your family! It is so great to see that you can just have fun together. I'm with Kristyn on not wanting summer to end, but that is probably because we don't have kids going to school eh! Sure love ya.
