On Monday I will be 35 and I seriously can't believe I got to be this old {which I know isn't that old} but I used to look at people who were in their thirties and think wow thats old I never want to be there if thats thirty five.
But here I am.
Really I don't feel thirty five
But here I am.
Really I don't feel thirty five
I feel good. Its okay..
I feel like I've done a lot, been through a few things to get me to this point. There really is only one reason turning thirty five is hard. Since I was 21 we've tried to have/make a baby but 14 years later not once has that ever happened, why no one knows
{tmi/fyi nothing medically wrong with either of us
for those that were wondering ha ha.}
for those that were wondering ha ha.}
But I also know that these four awesome kids we have the privilege of being ours forever are meant to be here and couldn't have otherwise if all things had worked the "way" they were supposed too.
But it did work the way it was supposed to
that I am sure of.
But it doesn't take the part of my heart that still wishes, hopes, and prays for each day, each month for just the once even to know to feel and to experience but
alas ha who says that... I am a old lady now moved up into that next dreaded age bracket {j/k}
no for real I'm fine I'm in a good place. I'm happy and nothing matters more to me than my family, our happiness within and as a family and our dreams whether
its now or never. today or tomorrow. this year or next.
its now or never. today or tomorrow. this year or next.
It is what it is.

Heavenly Days! You said "saa" in a post - I couldn't stop laughing.
HAPPY DAY OF BIRTH (almost)!! 35 is definitely not old. Isn't that funny though how we used to think that when we were younger??
I loved the questionaire. Lots of fun to read! (and the picture of you as a baby - darling!)
okay I got a kick out of the saa and the jokes! Takes me back! I totally agree with the last quote, because I feel like 25. Getting old not too bad it comes with it's perks, like we are total way smarter than those young kids!! HB Christal
YAY!!! Happy Birthday to YOU!!! That was a really fun post, and fun getting to know YOU better!!: )
Happy Birthday! You look so much like Livi in your 5yr old picture!!! I had no idea your hair was ever that DARK! too cute! ANd yes, I too, love that you said saa in your post!! Haven't heard that in ages!
Happy birthday Christal!!! I love reading your posts, and picturing what my life could be like in a few years. You are such a great example! Love ya
I'm with you I can't believe you are 35 either. Not that that is old. But how did we go from growing up in the parents house moving five billion times to living in the same small town married and having homes of our own and somehow somewhere in that time hitting our 30s so flippin fast! I don't get it! But I am glad you are the older sister to pave the way in to our 30s! Yikes! Anyway, great post and questionnaires and pictures too! You were and still are a cutie! I love you Christal!
Old?? Phsst. Yeah right. Talk to me when your 45. lol.

Happy Birthday Christal!! You look GREAT for 35! (Besides, I heard 35 was the new 25, right??) You are a wonderful wife and mother and friend and I know you bless my life alot. I am so glad you were born 35 years ago! Have a wonderful week.
Happy Birthday Christal! I just love your blog and this was such a fun post. Thanks for sharing.
I hope this isn't discouraging...but maybe you'll be like Elizabeth in the scriptures who prayed her whole life for a baby and finally had one when she was "well stricken in years". For now, you have 4 beautiful, healthy kids and that's a miracle and blessing in itself. Happy Birthday Christal!
