{Favorite things..... thoughts..and a GIVeAwAY..}

 love this

Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes here, on the phone and on face book! What did we do before face book its kind of fun to see who is thinking of you the day of! It was a nice day I got a dozen roses, and a cake and D's parents stopped by it was nice to visit with them, and my sister D stopped by too! All with kind words and a gift so nice of them...my kids each brought me a rose and told me kindly the things they loved and appreciated about me and them D did it was awesome! Plus a less colder day of cross country skiing in one of our favorite places not to far from here!
For a mom birthday it was a good day.
 {besides waking up with a allergy ridden eye apparently now I'm allergic to oranges and mangos}

-------------------------

 ------------------------

-------------------------

 ------------------------------
 and look how cute these are one of these days I'm just going to get me some found here

-------------------------------------
Me THINKS
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
~Marianne Williamson
love that.

Looks like you had an amazing and sweet birthday!!! So true....what would we do without modern communications, eh? HAppy Happy Birthday again!

I've never heard of twisted peppermint body mist...I think that I just might have to try it whether I win the giveaway or not (fun idea btw!!!)

One of my favorite things I am loving right now is my GIANT king size electric blanket Dean gave me for Christmas. Oh my word! It's hard to get up in the morning to the cold air in the house, when all I want to do is go back and snuggle under that delicious soft warm blanket. It's like butter.

Cute post! You look so pretty with your flowers! SO, my favourite thing I am loving right now are my new "rock and tone" walking shoes, they work me extra hard and burn extra calories... excitement much.

Valentines idea I am thinking of this year is to leave a trail of love hearts with little things I love about my hubby on them- who knows where I might make the trail lead to.... wink wink!

Ha ha- LOVE that headband- also, I love the way you do your hair and would love it if you shared a blog post as to how you get that bouffant so perfect!

love ya girl xox

K... I totally want the head wrap!!! I need one so bad, cause I can't stand wearing a hat since I don't want it to smash my hair, but my ears FREEZE!!

One of my favorite things right now is pulling the couch up close to the TV, grabing our king size duvet off the bed, making hot chocolate, putting on a movie, and pilling all of us on the couch to watch a movie.

One of my favorite things right now are my aqua colored 1500 count Egyptian cotton sheets that I got for Christmas (and they were a steal for only $40)! I washed them the other night and put them on my bed and not only are the LUXURIOS to sleep in, but the color makes me so happy and reminds me of the gorgeous waters of Hawaii. It's the simple things that mean so much! :)

How fun you are doing a giveaway! I just love you. That is so sweet that you got roses and the way they were presented. It makes me excited to have older kids!

What I'm loving right now: My new scentsy warmer (eskimo kiss is my scent right now), a bib that Spencer doesn't mind wearing (he has gotten so picky about that), and our costco rug. Also love all those v-day projects you posted. Maybe I'll get a wreath done, maybe.

You find the cutest stuff. This valentine I might attempt to make Valentine fortune cookies again. I attempted them once but failed!!! I found them on ourbestbites.com. I'm also loving that site!

I hate wearing toques -- that wrap would be so perfect! :o) One of my favorite things isn't store-bought... I absolutely love getting on the computer and finding an email from Mike when he's away at school and I'm missing him like crazy. Knowing that he's thinking of me makes all the difference in my world. :o)

I am loving the book series by Christ Stewart - actually the one you talked about. I am reading where angels fall. I like how it is changing my perspective and making me think bigger, the big picture not just here and now. BTW do you have all the books? I have gotten the first two from the library but they don't have the rest. If you have them could I borrow them?

I LOVE you Christal. My SIL works at Hollister- every time I go in there I find some cute sweater to put on my wish list! I do love your taste, I could put ALL of those on my favorite list as well!

Happy Birthday Christal!
You're not "old" at all ;) Your just getting younger backwards! Besides, no one could ever know you're in your thirties, with your good looks!

I've seen other women wear those cute crocheted head bands, and I have been tre jealous that they can pull it off so stylishly! It's such a cute "fall/winter" accessory I think! Did you make it yourself?

My favorite thing to do right now is to research out new and fun recipes! I love blog browsing other sites to see what some people have done... and I like to be creative and try it myself but with a "twist." So far... I've done more looking then cooking/baking- but I think its better that way, because reading doesn't contain any calories ;)
