{Me Thinks...}

Well our last little while has consisted of 

1 girl cutting her bangs off with scissors at 5 in the morning, {{another ahh}}

 so we rigged a swooped bangs kind of thing to hid it!...

1 awesome Hockey game and some intense country pride

1 ranch skating party, 

1 trip to ER for some relief for me, and a new immune drug that doesn't contain hydrocortisone to try for the eyes so far so good
1 baby turning 8 months old already 

Took a few snaps he didn't want his picture taken this time haha!! He is getting so big so fast! I know I say that everytime but he is!

 A few things he does at 8 months
crawl
says mom
feeds himself cracker and little bits of food and he HAS NO TEETH YET
pull to standing position
starting to play strange
loves to sleep still
has the best smiles
loves to play peek a boo
laughs the most for the kids
sleeps all night
is a bit of a  mama's boy
IS A JOY. JOY. JOY!!
 

ME THINKS.

Sometimes I like to read books that are just for pure, mindless enjoyment with a message or something to learn from it...I don't really read deep books with deep issues cause there is enough garbage and sadness in the world I don't really care to read it too.That's just me. So anyway I was reading The Samaritan Bueno by Jack Weyland {I told you easy read } 

anyway  its about a modern day good Samaritan story I enjoyed it, it made me think about the service we do for others and how much we go out of our way for others no matter what OTHER people think.  In it was this paragraph....

......"I do understand that the parable of The Good Samaritan is just a story. But even so, like so many parables, it can reveal other lessons. What I've been thinking about lately is that this business traveler didn't do just one act of service when he came across the man left to die by others. It must have been a part of his life. Which means he had helped others before that occasion. You can't say I'm going to help somebody some day. You have to say what can I do to help someone today?

Lately I've included that in my prayers. I ask for opportunities to help others. And on the days I do that, I am surprised at the opportunities that come to me. The Savior doesn't want just one spectacular service act from us that we can tell in sacrament meeting talks throughout our lives. He wants service to others to be an integral part our our life......"
