we look like a pretty tired bunch...but it was so fun!...we got home late and had a rare nice border guy {may have been partially due to some hair flipping by a pretty girl working it.... anyway whatever it was due too he let us go and we didn't have to pay duty that was a relief and an even better end to a great shopping getaway...
Thanks to my D who stayed home with the kids all day and enjoyed that..so that I could get out for the day! I have a great husband!

and the SAD....we had ward boundary changes this weekend a big blow to our ward as so many great people were moved to another ward. We didn't get anyone new, of course lots of people are excited. Others of us not so happy...but thats all I'm going to say lots of ......tears...... here.
I guess its not up to me and the why's won't make much difference but its still really sad so see so many people go and another ward flourish by so so many great people.
Its actually three of the wards I've been in in this town a great accumulation of parts of all three and lots of my favorite people. Such is life I guess we just have to move on and accept it because thats what it is. Doesn't make it any easier though. and it doesn't mean I can't be sad its a reality and I am sad.

We all have gifts and talents that are unique to us. No one else on the planet can do exactly what we are capable of doing in the way that we are capable of doing it. We are each unique, special and talented. The only way we can discover what we are truly good at is to follow our hearts"...

Life is change. Growth is optional. So when life changes, do you get excited about exploring new opportunities, or do you try to maintain the status quo? The other thing I have learned about life and the nature of God, is that he is relentless. He will constantly challenge you and put opportunities around you ....
We decide what things mean to us. WE decide what is easy, what is hard, what is good, what is bad, etc. Life and the situations and challenges that arise are for our own benefit and personal growth. We can either choose to step up to GROW AND BECOME MORE, or we can choose a life of sameness and bitterness or unhappiness..... Its existing vs truly living and its always our choice. If you do not like the way things are in life, you have two choices. Change what they mean to you (which you always have the power to do), or change your circumstances. That’s it."
doesn't mean I can't still cry about it.
found this article today and pretty sure it was written for me! doesn't mean lots of thinking won't be happening no matter what the circumstance may be ...... attitude and thought sometimes makes all the difference in whatever our situation may be in life... I sometimes have a hard time with change {depends what kind of change actually} but..... it usually means I beat it death....
mull it over, then pick it up..and move on..all things happen for a reason and whatever the "it" is or circumstance is its all in how we take it, how we move one .....it might take awhile but usually seeing what we learn from it might make all the difference.
or not.
but I do know its up to us.

What??!!!!! You got to meet Pioneer Woman in person? Wow. You lucky lucky girl(s). Looks like you had a great day!!
So sorry to hear how the ward boundary changes there made you so sad. Goes to show what a big heart you have and that others have made such a huge impact on your life. But don't forget......they didn't move away....just attend a different ward. ; D
Hugs! Love ya.
HOW FUN! I ♥ PW! You are so luckY! Tell me what you think about her cook book- is it worth it the $ I'm so curious.
I'm afraid we are entering into a new period of growth, we have kindergarten registration tomorrow- I'm already teary! LAME I know! Thanks for the reminder it's all in my attitude!
Can you email out all the pics from P Dub. Thanks!
No comment on the wards... ha ha you know how I feel!
I hope acceptance is around the corner for you. As for me I am leaving my feelings until after the first day of church with the new ward. I'm not sure were I will fit. But a challenge is always good right?
How fun to meet PW and a fun girls day out. You deserve it. I made those snickerdoodle muffins yesterday to take to parent preschool and everyone raved about them. My husband who doesn't usually like sweets said when are you making a whole pan for just me. So they were a hit! I saw them and thought, I should make them, but when I saw them on your blog you inspired me further so thanks. They are a new fav. As for the wards I really don't know what has changed and won't until the next couple of weeks. But I like change and it is easy for me (most of the time)
It'll be alright! Change is good and the Lord knows what he is doing. But you already know that!
sooooo wish I could have come to PW!
Thanks Christal!! This was just for me!!
I'm glad you had such a great time in Great Falls!! I MISSED YOU THOUGH! It was weird to come home and not see you. The girls had lots of fun playing though - L had on H's pj's and they all had a little pyjama party. It was pretty cute. We are planning on coming for July 1st this year so I will see you then - I'm glad you have a blog - it's so fun to see what you are up to. You are an incredible and inspiring person. thanks for being you!
Love ya!!
