{This and That Me Thinks}

......sometimes thats hard to remember.... I needed that one today.
maybe you do too....
Onto the this and that part of my post :) L's "new" dresser and desk for her room that used to belong all her aunts growing up it turned out really cute! And L loves them!
-------------------------------------------------
onto the yummiest bread recipe ever that its taken me 15 years to get and we all love it and it actually turns out and its good for you bonus....
 my instagram pic

my kids and D loved it!
It only made two little loaves though so next time I'll 3 x's it and make four loaves ....but it is super good...
---------------------------------------------------
seriously awesome savings for the same stuff same size wow! If you want volume this is your stuff....money saved!!
----------------------------------------------------
Love this:
Putting your phone away & paying attention to those talking? There's an App for that. Its called RESPECT.
{ RESPECT is what is severely missing in todays society}
 --------------------------------------------------------

So I was making these

for a service auction last week in my ward. I thought they would be totally easy to whip up.... although I should have realized I'm a beginner sew..er {um wait doesn't that spell sewer? if you put it all together} lol  anyway I should have know that to whip something up in my case means it doesn't necessary happen that way.
But then my beautiful mother showed up right on time and helped me out by sewing them all for me haha...thanks mom:) and they made it to the auction undone no eyes..... but a super talented girl:) won the bid on my half done easter themed basket anyway said she would finish them so its all good:)  But try them they are so cute...here's the link

some of my favorites iphone pics of the month so far:
real life.
ME THINKS.
is being frustrated sometimes when all the kids seem to do is fight
it's having another week off of school and trying to figure out what to do so we don't all go crazy
real life.
is picking of the pieces of shattered dreams and letting it go
when it threatens to burst out time and time again when it feels like to much to handle and then its praying really hard and feeling peace. for a moment.
real life.
is asking why?
real life
is realizing that
"A bad attitude is like a flat tire you won't get anywhere till you change it"
it really isn't going to get us anywhere.
real life
is cleaning up poop, puk and tears in the middle of the night and realizing how much you love this little person...and don't want them to hurt
real life
is taking each day each minute and taking a deep breath, taking it a day at a time because being a PARENT
is hard..watching choices our children make, watching others around them that hurt our kids and realizing that its all what life is about and how we handle it
Real life.
is wondering what tomorrow holds but living right now.
Because we are all in this together and this stage right now isn't easy it isn't perfect, we aren't perfect but time passes faster everyday and what we do now is what matters most tomorrow.

Real life. whats yours?

I LOVE the dresser redo. Perfect choice on the knobs! I love you and your real life. I might just try that powder, might help the volume over here!

Look at you! That dresser is to die for! I'm also loving your new header on the blog! CUTE!! CAN NOT WAIT to try the bread recipe Christal... how did you know I was in need of a good one like that?! And I'm also excited to try the hair powder. I bought one in a can that sprays on from a local beauty supply store and hated it. I was on the look out for a better one. Totally trying it! Thanks for all the GREAT info! :) Love ya!

You are lucky I don't live closer; I would have claimed that dresser long ago!! Luckily I just bought a second hand one a few weeks ago and fixed it up or I'd be super jealous!! It looks great :) And I'm going to look for that duster stuff!

amazing job on the dresser!! I've learned that its not as easy as it looks (at least not for me) or maybe its because I hate painting. I can't wait to try that bread recipe. I've seen it, but now that you say its good, I'll have to try it for sure:) Thanks again for the dust it tip.
