Sometimes I read something and it jumps out so true to life this is one of them:::

When the lesson you are to learn is very important, trials can extend over a long period of time, but they should not be allowed to become the confining focus of everything you do. Your life can and should be wondrously rewarding. It is your understanding and application of the laws of God that will give your life glorious purpose as you ascend and conquer the difficulties of life. That perspective keeps challenges confined to their proper place–stepping-stones to further growth and attainment.”

I stumbled upon your blog the other day and I love it. I have even bookmarked it. I just want to say AMEN to your quote from Richard G. Scott today. It couldn't have been more timely for me today. THANK YOU! You were truly inspired to share those thoughts today. Some times when we are in the midst of trials we can't see past them.....those "blinders" can truly be blinders. We just need someone else to put those "perspective" glasses on our noses for us.....and behold! We can see again. Thanks!

I found your blog today, and have really enjoyed reading it! Your kids are adorable. I know we haven't met yet, but we really should. Thanks for your supportive comments on my blog. It's so nice to find people who really get what we go through for our adopted children.
Are you missing Florida now that it's getting colder up there? We're hoping to get up to Raymond for Christmas, but I have recently been noticing that Aerie and I have mostly shorts and Capri pants. She doesn't even have a warm coat, so I guess I better do something about that before we get there!
