{Thankful....}

Thanks House of Fleming!!
------------------------------------------------------
I am so thankful there are still beautiful things out there like this view this morning as I sent my children out the door to the bus....
{who thought I was sending them out way to early cause it was still so dark it was kind of funny...}
Its a beautiful reminder of who is in charge and that's God's gift to us everyday when we look around at what He's given us......

Attitude of Gratitude
hum some days consist of this a lot of the day...""up""
i am more than happy to snuggle and hold this little man because before long he'll be onto bigger and more exciting things than me, but sometimes when your making dinner or something its remembering to stop and be thankful I have a little one tugging on my pants saying.... up....
How I love him!!!
....and this..... his constant favorite drawer......thats why its not organized because he loves to play in it everyday!! But he is my cleanest kid
HE CLEANS UP AFTER HIMSELF!!!
AND for that I am really grateful.
{He is also super tired in these pictures!}
An attitude of gratitude is looking at this boy and just being...
Thankful that he is still with us from the beginning from being sued multiple times after placement for him, to the many times he has defied being run over from semi's on the highway to big Dodge's...... Thankful for a friend who listened to that small voice that said
"back up"
instead of going straight down the alley way like she usually did every morning but for some random reason backed up and then saw why
when a less than 2 year old blond headed boy was smiling up at her!!
The boy who pops all door handle safety devices in  less than 2 seconds since he was a year and half
the boy who would be playing outside before he was 2 at 5:30 in the morning..... WHAT!
{don't worry it only lasted one time then the locks everywhere possible came...than.}
The boy who used pool noodles and yard sticks to move chain  locks
The boy who gets in random construction workers trucks and drives off with them ....
The boy who has been missing for longer than 2 hours sometimes while the whole neighborhood and I frantically search for him.....
The boy who has super strength and pops out more screens then you want to know just to get "out".......
{our basement has no door out of it so he made his own way out.....}
so if you see him sometimes I probably don't know he has escaped because "mommy I'm going to go play with my trains"
only I didn't know he meant on the ACTUAL railroad tracks and his "train"!!!
Oh and the things he has ingested....
the tantrums he has throw I'm sure I've thrown a few of my own in response......
The boy who keeps us running, keeps us up at all hours of the night
The boy who goes to the 16 year olds house down the street to ask if he can play and then to the other end of the street to ask if the 1 year old can play.....
The boy who roams the neighborhood and helps some bring in groceries and others walk their dogs.....
The boy who we love more than words, but can get madder at him than anybody
The boy who doesn't sleep and wakes the whole house.
But I'm thankful his guardian angels have shifts and keep him watched over every minute of every day and night!! Heaven knows he needs them. So I'm thankful for them too whoever has that lucky job!!!
BUT actually I wasn't going to write any of that I was going to say
that this is his sick eyes picture he hasn't been feeling well this week of and on
and yesterday he was playing with K2 running around and having lots of fun laughing and playing the both of them.....
then all of a sudden he throws up randomly all over himself, K2 and my bedroom  carpet...
He looks at me looks down and says
oops I "pooked"... I'm sorry
{ha ha I laughed and got him cleaned up, it took him by such surprise it surprised us all we laughed again, he's always made it to the toilet before so it was really .....random}
What a kid! Life sure would be boring around here without him so we pray he makes it for the long haul till he's old and gray and I've already passed away!!

Oh Christal!

I LOVE the pictures you take. That sun rise is GORGEOUS!!

And you are too cute. You always take great self portraits. I accept the challenge. Maybe with a little practice I can learn. How fun. I loved your interesting facts. Wow! Spanked for kissing a boy. All innocent I am sure, but my have times ever changed. Now a days, if a principal did that, he would be raked over the coals and dragged through the courts! ; D

About M....all I can say is my hats off to you. Wow. Wow. Wow. He sure is a little ball of fire. Some woman is going to love the passion he has someday.

I never tire of hearing all your M adventures. I'm glad you took the time to write it down. I'm taking the challenge too. Sounds fun. I hate it when meetings get drawn out too. I like agendas and sticking to them and time limits!

Okay, I thought Dani and Mason were a lot alike but I think he is more of an ex\scape artist for sure. Dani likes mischief but sounds like you have your work cut out for him keeping him safe!! This is my favorite thing you wrote:
"The boy who we love more than words, but can get madder at him than anybody".
And I love your 15 things. I might want to try that...we'll see.

I learned you were spanked in grade three. haha. I must say I think I knew a lot about you. I knew you didn't like socks, you wear flip flops in the winter. Crazy, but we love you. =)
I am actually going to do this I hope. Just the other day I was thinking I blog a lot about the girls, but they won't know anything about their mom. The only thing holding me back is the self portrait thing. If I took great pictures like you it wouldn't be hard. THanks for the challenge.

oh, and I also knew those things about M. He really is a looked after boy. Love him.

I live the 15 facts. I think that I will join in, but it will take me a lot longer than 15 days seeing how I am hardly ever on here. It will be fun to do though. Oh how I miss those southern alberta sunsets. I just miss Canada all together. I love you lots!
