12 years ago we got engaged it was actually late night valentines day
technically Feb 15 ....
but after our valentines date.
He took me home after our date.
I was so disappointed I thought for sure after
ALL this time he would ask me to marry him especially on Valentines Day
After Christmas went by....
my birthday had gone by...
now valentines day had gone by...
SO I thought
Until there was a knock on the door late....
about five minutes if that after he had dropped me off
and he asked me to go on a little drive with him
YES by then I knew finally my dreams were coming true
so we drove to the temple and he got down on one knee and asked me to
MARRY HIM
he slipped the ring on my finger...
I laughed I was so happy... then cried cause I was so happy
then said
YES
that was the best decision I ever made.
I love Him with all my heart!
I couldn't ask for a better friend, better example
father to our children
and companion to spend the rest of ETERNITY with.
Lucky Me.

sorry I'm to tired to go back into blogger to write that D had dropped me off because he had the wedding band attached to the engagement ring and needed to put the wedding band else where.
We never went ring shopping ever he picked it out himself. I was just happy to have a beautiful ring on my finger finally and that he had picked it love it!!
I was going to do more loves but its late !!
That is so cute! I also loved the pic of you guys kissing on your wedding day, so sweet. It's fun to look back at the wedding pictures and see the love and excitement we were feeling on that particular day.
LOL! That is a giddy laugh. I thought that is the SWEETEST and most romantic thing he could of done. A drive to the temple and to ask. WOW! You got a great guy there. This truly was a great week of posts.
I agree with Carrie. I keep looking at your wedding photo. You two look like babies! So young and SO in love....and then I look at your latest photo at the side bar..........still BABIES and SO in love. *wink* truly. Don't know how you do it. : D
