Can't wait until its nice spring summer weather!!
Saturday D and I went on a day date and got away for a bit mostly because I needed out of the house but also cause D needed a new suit and actually found a couple of suits that he really needed so that was productive. Got some paint decided on and looked at carpet there is way to much carpet out there! Hard to choose.
Sunday Masen got kicked out of nursery nice eh! I took him to the truck and he feel right asleep he must have just been totally worn out and tired. But seriously to kick him out of nursery. Missing nap time isn't a good thing on any day but oh well I'm over it.
Sometimes its frustrating moving especially into a new ward, being in our old ward they knew our kids from pretty much from birth and know that they are good kids.
But starting all over again in a new ward, it seems some people are easy to pass judgment.
Makes me more aware of my first judgments of people that's for sure, until we get to know people good its the first impression we get of people that we label them with, until we really get to know them. Not fair but its the truth we all do it.
Anyway I'm glad school is back in K and L were so excited to go back to school today. Kolt was excited to show his show and tell all his bead animals he worked on all week. And L was excited to go to center time. Her favorite part!
Anyway here are some random pics from our week.
And the nice little surprise sunday morn with Masen's name on it somehow with both D and I in the room he picked up the hot iron as quick as he does things and put it on our dresser Nice eh!! Maybe now I need bedroom furniture hum? But actually in about 20 years it will mean a lot to me right? Kind of a remember when moment - What a kid!!

Think about this one and if your like me we don't have much to complain about, but we sure spend our time complaining some days. But reading this made me think how very blessed I am.
We get so used to our way of life that things like our bad economy hit hard cause we are used to living the way we do. But really even with that if we learn to live a little more self sufficiently, live with less and make do or do with out.
We are still far more ahead then some who live without {all of the time.}

I'm so glad you found my blog and have been commenting! I've been reading through yours and it's cool to get to know you guys better. I'm sorry you feel like the ward judges your family. I think you're nice people, anyway! I'm still new myself and don't know many people, so I am sure I get judged all the time, too. (Today one of the ladies I VT asked me if I am pregnant. How's that for ya? Nice. I'm not pregnant, by the way...)

Wow, that post really puts things into perspective, hey? I know I for one tend to forget just how blessed I am. Sorry to hear about Masen and nursery, I feel for you. We'd have the same issues with Caleb if we switched wards. We're lucky he has such a patient and loving nursery leader.
Christal your blog is amazing - drifted over to it from Whitney's. So sad about nursery, 1:00 church is hard on all the little ones :s And thanks for all the wake up calls - we have life pretty good here and really should be thankful every day!!

I'm glad you were able to get some sun on Saturday. It's snowing like crazy here today. I think maybe I should of appreciated and enjoyed the sun more on Saturday....cause it's gone now. : (
Hang in there with your new ward. I am shocked that he was kicked out of Nursery. No matter how tired or cranky the kids got in our Nursery, the thought NEVER crossed our minds to kick them out. We just loved them through all their little issues. Thanks for sharing. We can ALL use a wake up call about first impressions and judging others. Hope you got a great nap too while you were in the truck. : D
Oh, one more thing.....Curtis and Kolten would get a long SO well together playing with building sets of all kinds. CUTE fish Kolten!!!

Those statistics are really interesting! We DO have so much to be thankful for.

kicked out of nursery?! i'm in shock. they don't do that in cardston, hehe. we're at 1:00 church too and it really is so hard on those little kids, hard on the teachers too i guess. i went running outside on sat, too! no slipping here, they actually clear the roads here. guess cardston beats raymond this time! (don't tell anyone i said that, hehe)
Ah, don't even get me started on the trials of nursery! Sounds like you and i have had similar situations...but really...to kick a child out of nursery? I can't think of a thing that would really justify that. Poor guy, and poor you! I hope things turn around for ya! Boys are boys eh?!
Your kids are so beautiful! Umm...what? I didn't know they kicked kids out of nursery! Claire has a few more months before she takes the plunge...she's not a sharer so we might have issues. ha. Love your blog by the way...you're great!
