I love to shop and find good sales I rarely ever pay more then 20 dollars for shirts, hoodies or skirts and I never pay more then 30 dollars for good jeans its like in my head before I look at the price I determine how high I would pay for it. Am I just weird or does anybody else do this??
I LOVE yummy smelling candles and love it when people are reminded of something {baking or a memory associated with the smell} when they smell them that's why I love Salt City Candles. Just like my lotions I have candles for each season ocd?? not sure but I love it!

I LOVE history, world history, family history stories. I love learning how people lived, what things were like and how we came to be what those who went before us went through. This is D's g.g.g Grandpa. Anybody recognize him??
I love and am thankful for the simpler things in life. I think often about the things we DON'T really need, that take away from the simplicity of life. The pioneers and those that went before us made it through life without a phone, without a microwave, without a car, life was harder but simpler. I think families were definitely stronger, cause things weren't so fast paced and distracting. Don't you ever feel like taking your family and moving to the mountains or somewhere without everything that distracts {not really but some days I really do??} SOMETIMES I wonder what they did with there kids without a TV and MOVIES, sad thought eh. But its true. They played more with them could send them outside and not have to worry as much. Simplicity.{ I also don't remember where I got this picture or the top from so if you know feel free to lmk..}
I LOVE this BOY {I'll do the other 2 over the next two days}

And my favorite Valentine Quote EVER!
Valentine's Day
I don't understand why Cupid was chosen to represent Valentine's Day. When I think about romance, the last thing on my mind is a short, chubby toddler coming at me with a weapon.

LOL! That's the same quote Candi told me the other day. Too funny!
I pick Candle scents for the seasons!
I really must get together with you and figure out D's family tree and see where I fit in there. The Woodruff's our my relatives too.
Oh! And one more thing! YES! I am the same as you when it comes to shopping! I never pay full price and I always look at something to figure it's value first BEFORE I look at the tag. Sometimes I am REALLY disappointed when I see that price tag.....there is NO way it could be worth THAT much. LOL!
I can't wait for our "date" someday at the temple. We will have to go do a session together for sure! And have lunch in the cafeteria. I will let you know when we are that way. Have a GREAT WEEKEND! You've had quite the fun week with blogging, eh? *wink* : D
I love your Valentine quote! Too true, I have always been a bit weirded out by cupids! Love the picture with the mountains in the back ground. My Dad was born and raised in Cardston,( Taylorville to be exact) I grew up in Magrath (don't hold it agianst me!) that picture reminds me of good times spent tubing from Kimball to Cardston with friends and all kinds of other Southern Alberta memories! Thanks! Love your blog. Have a happy Valentines Day!
love ya!!!
haha...that quote is hillarious. I love so many of the same things you do...I love different candles for different seasons! Not ocd at all to me. And I am so into history. I love simplicity and spiritual things, too.
You are such a sweet mom, Christal. I love what you wrote about Kolten. So precious!
so i posted my comment like twice and then erased both. I'm losing it.
so what I wrote...
scented candles for seasons, deciding the price of an item before looking and thinking K is the greatest 7 year old, your not alone.
I wrote some potty training thing about Madi, but I can't remember. She's not, and not even close in case you were wondering. I'm in no hurry still!!!
