{Bad weather, baby showers and basements...}

Long day, long week D was gone for 4 days of it the kids are going wild and so much to get done!! But I did just finish painting the last three small walls in the basement only one more coat of every single wall left to do!

Progress right!!

Some bad weather coming our way and snow weather warnings up to 50 - 70 cm seriously enough of winter anybody else SEVERELY sick of winter!!!

Anyway Finally got some of our Adoption profile pages updated!!

Just a few of the pages I got done this week, and put off for way to long
we have been on the waiting list for a little over a year now
so hopefully these will be a little more refreshing and appealing then the old profile.
SO if anybody knows anybody looking for a family to place a baby for adoption with...
WE
ARE
Waiting...
Hoping...
Praying...

{my scanner wasn't working so here are some pics....}

Today we also had my SIL Katelyn's baby shower she is due in a few weeks with a boy....
.... Love these little cousin pictures looking out over the farm at Grandma's watching the big semi come in ...

The basement is coming along {yes the door is upside down but you get the point!}
It's coming! All the boards on the floor are casings headers baseboards blah blah blah...
Hard at work every single night right after work!! I married a jack of all trades kind of guy, lucky me!!

David Bowman has a new, beautiful print out called "Joy." It is absolutely amazing!

{Taken from HERE}

Here is the print and what David has to say about it...
"Joy"
Blessed are ye because of your faith. And now behold, my joy is full.
3 Nephi 17:20 "This is one of my favorite moments in the Book of Mormon. After stating this, Jesus simply spends some time blessing and interacting with the children, while angels descend out of heaven. In this piece, I wanted to depict our Savior in that moment of "full joy". I see Him smiling and laughing spontaneously,
filled with so much love for those young people,
to the point of weeping for joy (as it mentions in the record He did).
If its human nature to manifest feelings of joy and love in that way... then I have to believe that would especially be the case for the One who is the embodiment of every good and righteous instinct of human nature."~Dave Bowman~

That print is so beautiful!!! And the profile updates look really good. I had a dream last night that you and I were in the same ward and we were hanging out in nursery together, ha ha. I will keep you and D in my prayers for another successful adoption. You are amazing parents!

PS
Last week I got called as the 1 Coun in the Primary Presidency. Eek! Wish me luck:)

Ohh I love that print. Never heard or seen his work yet. Thanks for sharing.
Your new pages look great. Such a wonderful family you have and I hope that you will be able to add another little one sometime soon! You are such an amazing person (and I don't really know you, but feel like I do after reading your blog, hearing your thoughts etc.) I look up to you in many ways.
Joy is one of my favorite words because it goes deeper than happiness. To me it is a word full of depth and meaning and I get to feel true joy almost each day. We all have a few bad days right?
Yeah, for getting your basement close to being done!

I hope you can get another baby too! Doesn't it suck being so vulnerable and having to wait!!! You are through LDSFS, right? Do they have offices up there?
Your house is going to be fabulous too!! What is your square footage? That basement looks nice and big :)
