I am so thankful for many things
but today I am so thankful for music
Music can rile you up
make you cry
make you happy
make you want to jump up and dance
give you goosebumps
and make you feel raw emotion
create a feeling of love and spirituality
it can also invoke the opposite of all these things
....but it can create an atmosphere anywhere
including a place like this
I'm not sure why this made me cry the first time I watched it but watch the whole thing through...
made me think of what brings people together
what can and has the ability to bring peace and togetherness
JOY no matter where
watch the people some of the reactions ....
So thankful for all that I have
for friends
family
life
music....

I say ditto to everything you said. I loved both those videos. I was going to post the singer one because she was so stinkin' awesome and what a message of not judging based solely on appearances. She rocked it!

Kay Becca and Christal, I feel better that I'm not the only one holding back the tears. So weird, it's a happy dancing video and I feel moved. Maybe it's because I LOVE the Sound of Music and it made me think of the movie which is so wonderful, or maybe it's people joining together with a sense of togetherness and community...ah I'll quit trying to explain myself. I think I'll post a link to this one on my FB profile, thanks Christal.

I think why the video brings some emotion is that, it is nice to see something happy. we live in such a crazy world and there is to much doom and gloom. It`s nice to see people smile and enjoy themselves, everybody wants that.

I love the power of music. I wasn't able to watch the video for some reason...my computer has been weird today, but I'll have to check back later to see it. It sounds like it's a good one! Ryker has definitely gotten a love from music from his birth mom...which I am soooo greatful for. It has made me appreciate music even more to see how it effects him. Brings a smile to my face :)
I LOVE music. It evokes every emotion! It reaches our souls. That video was really fun to watch. I totally would have got on the dance floor too if I was there :)
