{Thankful Thursday....}

"A mother has far greater influence on her children than anyone else, and she must realize that every word she speaks, every act, every response, her attitude, even her appearance and manner of dress affect the lives of her children and the whole family. It is while the child is in the home that he gains from his mother the attitudes, hopes, and beliefs that will determine the kind of life he will live and the contribution he will make to society."
- N. Eldon Tanner
A BIG JOB.
I  love this quote.
I need this quote as a daily reminder.
I am so thankful to BE a MOTHER.
because being a mother is not easy alot of days
but I'm grateful beyond words to be one.....EVEN
if this happens everyday.... K2's favorite thing to do.
-------------------------------------------
Weird or DIFFERENT?

I eat cereal with a fork because I hate milk.... always have
I don't own a cell phone
 I have never texted
we have no video games, DS', in our house
we only have 3 channels
we don't have pvr, dvr or tivo
My kids all bath before school and get their hair done
a lot of the times they bathe at night too well if they were playing outside they do.
my baby really does take 6 hour naps most days
we eat dinner together every night
I've never found a gray hair yet {yeah} hoping I have my mothers genetics she didn't get gray till her 50's
my children have chores
I'm allergic to about 56 {hundred} things
I read to my children everyday..
same or different? who's to say....

-----------------------------------------------------------------
I am thankful for these little boys who are....
......sometimes I can hardly believe how fast it happens...
but I'm enjoying the time while the older two are in school with these little men most days!
------------------------------------------
I'm thankful for my mom its her birthday today and I just hope she knows how much I love and appreciate her and all that she taught me. I couldn't have been more blessed by a more humble, meek, loving, Christlike mother an example of how we all should be.
She is amazing. and I love her.
Happy Birthday Mom.
One of the biggest highlights of my life {thus far} was spent with my mom for 9 days in Germany a dream come true for me... we may have had some moments but other than my wedding day and each of my children it was really a dream come true..
I have a travel bug and would be a jet setting girl if I had lots of money for now I think of ways to make money and enter every contest for free trips I can..... to get to all the other places I dream of going.
{England ireland italy france just to name a few..}someday.
I loved Germany I loved learning and seeing all the places I had read about learned about in school and loved sharing it with my mom who felt the same way I did. These are memories I really will cherish my whole life. Thanks mom!!
I am so thankful for my mom...

I love all your posts!! I love that quote too...what a HUGE responsibility we have. Sometimes I forget just what an impact we actually DO have on our children. It makes me want to be better, so my kids can be the best they can be!
Funny I just posted book pictures too. K&K would have a hayday together playing in the books!!
I love to travel too. Nothing like seeing the beautiful world we have.

I wish I had more time to read blogs... every time I get a second I stop by, you always have something wonderful to say! :)

We are SO much alike, especially the fork and cereal thing... I've never met anyone else that did that too! We don't have any TV, not a single channel! ha! I hate texting! ANd I could go on and on! Too funny!

Your pics are always great too! Beauitful kids and family! Happy Birthday to your sweet mom! She must be an amazing lady, since all of her children are that way too!
