{ ME thinks Monday }

ME Thinks
I love this kid he always makes me laugh.
We had quite the weekend it was cold, rainy, and wet. This weekend was full of alot of fun, pain, up and downs, but good all around but in point form we had cramps - me, pink eye - me, emergency - my mom {kidney stones} me out of control pink eye, fever - L, colds - me and L, almost concussion - K, large goose bump -K,{ sickest sound ever Kolt's head hitting the gym floor the guys were all playing bball and Kolten got run into full tilt his head hit the floor so hard it made me want to puke. I thought the table they were putting away fell over, he bit his tongue, hurt his finger and has the hugest goose egg on his head! run aways - M who else eh, family - bbq in the rain, kickball, basketball, friday night friend party, werewolf {so fun} to get out , missionary homecoming, family dinner afterward, also locked myself out of the house just before church with the burb running {remote} thought I had the keys went to go no keys so we walked to church and still made it on time frustrating though. Saturday since I had pink eye and it was pouring didn't get our family pics done so I went and got my hair done highlighted and textured it feels so much better. I love it its more summery - bright. IT felt so good being pampered for just an hour but it was nice I love the head massages I almost fell asleep this time it felt so good and relaxing!!
SO that is the low down on our weekend. Very filled!

ME THINKS Monday
MEE writes in her book {Random thoughts about lifes Wrinkles} Something I think alot about and thats doing the best we can do. Going the extra mile even when we think we can't.
"God asks of us only the best we can do. He knows that we have different kinds of moments and days and seasons, but He is never asking more then our best. There are times when He will ask for more than we think we can do, but it isn't more than we can do if we'll let Him help us. Think of the comfort and wonder in that. He asks for the best we can do, and for what we can't do, He "fills in".
We do what we can and He does what we can't."
We learn and grow so much when we do our best no matter what it is.
I love a quote I heard this weekend at a mission homecoming he said
"God wants full custody, not weekend visits"
Prayer is a big part of doing our best. We need to do it everyday not just when life gets hard or the times we think we can't go on, or the times when we take to much on or have more trials then we think are our fair share. If we do it all the time and ask for help we are more ready and open to receive the part we can't do and the help He can give us.
It is amazing how when we do our best, live our best, ask for help we will get it one way or another I have found that so many times in my life.
Just something to think about.
{So speaking of prayer masen just said his first prayer on the food meaning he repeated everything I said it was so CUTE~!! He was pretty happy with himself too!!

Hope everybody has another great week make it a great one!
Here are some picts from the weekend!

How cute are these little cousins I know Lauren is making a funny face but they played so well this weekend it was fun to watch them and see that they are growing up so fast!

A little family bball action it was so fun to go to the church and have our dinner there and play games together instead of worring about what kids were into and what they were doing everybody had alot of fun! My sil's boyfriend came up for the weekend so we had a family get together so he could meet everybody. How cute are these two!

Of course Masen found grandmas rubbermaid to play with!

Finally a little kick ball this picture is kind of funny but my brother in law kendall in the back just got lauren and I out then I knocked off her glasses and grandpa caught the rebound it was pretty fun for all {excuse the rolled up jeans us short people have problems when we take our big boots off!}
