Kolten's kindergarten graduation picture they sent home today He's growing up so fastSo thankful for today. For birds that sing to me in the morning while I'm walking. For the sun that is shining. The grass that is so so green. For the garden that got planted this week finally but barely before a huge downpour. Thankful for a husband that took the kids to the park for 2 hours so I could have time to clean the house and have a quiet primary meeting. Thankful for being able to do a presentation to the YW this week thankful that I made it through with all the emotional bawling that I did {You can only guess what I was talking about eh!} I think the YW understood my feelings and pleadings I guess to make right choices, gave them something to think about. Thankful for a sister that lives so close and helps me out when I need her. Thankful she can sew and fix stuff for me too haha! Love you girl!
Thankful for friends. Friends that call cause they have a problem or need something I'm so glad they think of me. Thankful for the good talks with friends I don't see that often but enjoyed talking with them this week.
Thankful for life and where we live, thankful for the food, we have for the freedom to run and do most of what we want to do. So thankful for a roof over my head. Just watch the news once and awhile and that is a good reality check of how good we have it. We have trials but not near the trials others have of the simplest things in life that we take for granted like food, clothes, a warm house, safety. etc. We are a very blessed people to be born where we are and to who we are, to have the gospel and the blessings that come with living the gospel to the fullest that is a blessing in itself. Count your blessings.
I'm thankful I'm learning everyday to try to be a more patient mom, to be calmer, and to try to enjoy the moment of things more, its really hard to do sometimes. But thats what each new day is for thankfully we have alot of those to start over with eh!!
I'm thankful today but don't worry there are lots of days I don't feel thankful at all - days I want to start over and days I wish I could take back but I think we all have days like that.

MOST OF ALL TODAY I'M SO THANKFUL FOR THE YEAR KOLTEN HAS HAD IN KINDERGARTEN. TODAY IS HIS LAST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN. HE HAS A LOVE FOR LEARNING. HE READS AMAZINGLY. I HEARD A LOT ABOUT RECYCLING, DINOSAURS, BUGS, LEPRECHAUNS, FAIRY TALES, FUN FACTS THAT EVEN I DIDN'T KNOW THAT HE HAS LEARNED. HE LEARNED HIS SOUNDS.HE LEARNED TO DO MATH.HIS LETTERS. HE CAN WRITE. I LOVE THE CUTE LITTLE NOTES HE WRITES TO US AND LEAVES AROUND THE HOUSE. IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE HE WILL BE IN GRADE ONE HOW CRAZY HE IS GROWING UP SO FAST. {AND SOME DAYS SO INDEPENDENT AND FEISTY. I'M HOPING ITS A STAGE YOU KNOW THE ONE WHERE THEY ARE TESTING THE LIMITS OF WHAT THEY CAN AND CAN'T DO } He has grown a lot this year physically and intellectually its been fun to watch his enthusiasm he has loved school and he love to be busy its been so good for him he is a smart kid, and made lots of new friends. I'm sure thankful and blessed that I can be Kolten's mom he is growing so fast and we are so lucky and blessed to have Kolten as a part of our family. He is a wonderful kid. I love him!! So I'm going to post some pictures from the first day of school and from this morning!! See if you notice a difference . All I know is that they grow up so fast.
Hope everybody has a great weekend Make it an awesome one!!
Kolten with his teacher gift we went with the summer relaxation idea beach towel, magazine, aloe for the burn afterwards ha ha!! And some gum Extra for going the extra mile as a teacher. He had an awesome teacher. He told me one day he wanted her to be his teacher forever and that he didn't want a new one! She was a wonderful teacher. He will miss her.

Love the teacher gift. What a creative idea! I found you while surfing other scrapbooker's blogs.
AWww.....Not only was it hard for my kids to accept a new teacher each year.....but it was for me too! LOL! You get so close to a teacher and then they have to move on.
Kolten is SO cute! I can tell your little man is so growing up fast. It's hard to believe another year has gone by so quickly, eh?
Love the teacher gift idea. She'll love it.
Look at that cute kid! WOw, this year is flying by us! I love that teacher appreciation idea too. You are so awesome!! I don't ever want my kids to have to leave me for the whole day! UGH... I'm not looking forward to kindergarten...maybe that will change in a few years though! :)
Great teacher gift! That is exactly the kind of gift that every teacher loves. . .one that says you get how hard she has worked for your child.
Kolten is so cute! What a little man. Grade 1 will be so fun for him.

Thanks for sharing your thankfulness ( if that's a word) with me, it makes me be a more thankful person everyday.
Can you believe you're going to have a first grader? Kolten is such a handsom boy! Your teacher appreciation gift turned out really cute. I'm not looking forward to Carter being in school. He is going to go to pre-school in the fall, but luckily it's onlys 2 hours twice a week. Kids grow up way to fast!
It really is hard to believe how much they grow and accomplish in one school year! It is amazing to watch.
