For starters what a crazy filled weekend! Friday I spent SEVEN hours cleaning the kitchen cabinets all of them they are so clean right now it feels so good! Now when I pack up it will be easy wipe clean and go. Anyway that night we had a family community fun night
dinner, astro jump, fish pond, bubble pit it was kind of cold and spitting rain but the kids had a lot of fun. I also got to meet a cute blogger friend in real life Lindsey it was so fun to meet you finally!
So that was my highlight of the night of course watching the kids play and have fun was too. Saturday my friend Tessa and I had our garage sale which went pretty good we got rid of a lot and made some money so it was a success. After that we ran up to Waterton where our husbands were with the youth from our ward on a hike for the day and we joined them for dinner afterwards and threw some rocks in the lake and of course went to big scoop for some ice cream. So considering it was raining up there it was a lot of fun.
Sunday was Sunday nice family day went for a walk and made dinner together.
Had some family planning to get our to do lists straight and appointments organized
which when your moving and all that needs to be down is a bit overwhelming but for me its always a big thing to change.
So much to do and I am just so impatient sometimes. {think I already said that but so true}
I could never build a house we would never get anything done trying to figure out time to do it and what to get done etc! D is just so so busy with so many other things on his plate.
I admire my friends who do it all the time.
SO if I seem a little grouchy its probably because I am ~lol moving doesn't do me any good! I get feisty and irritated easy. I like things organized and orderly and when I feel like there is so much to do and so many things to think about it gets overwhelming.
But I think deep down its because as much as I am really excited to have a new bigger house {don't get me wrong its the right thing for us to do at this time for our family} but I am really really sad to leave our ward which we have been in for over 6 years and same with the house I guess I just get used to the way things are and the memories that are here. I don't know - its hard for me. Especially when its the longest I've ever lived in one ward and one house ever.
-------------------------------------------------------
Anyway, today was my baby girls first short day of PRESCHOOL crazy time goes by so fast she was just my beautiful screaming baby not to long ago ha ha!! Now she's in preschool she was totally fine and excited her back pack was bigger then her and I think she was more excited to have a snack in her back pack then she was about preschool itself oh well we took some pics and had a fun morning she'll do great I look forward to seeing what she'll learn and what she'll be like in school. She is a lot of fun and I'm going to miss her on those mornings I wonder who Masen will fight with now??
And of course the really cheesy one!
Think her back pack is bigger then her lol!!!
and I guess she'll be just fine playing house and with dolls happily not ready to leave!
So we went to the dr today to get kolt's cast off and he didn't do it kolt was so disappointed have to go get an xray in the morning and then see if its even ready to come off if not he gets another one for another 3 weeks talk about disappointing when he supposed to be all ready to start basketball camp this week oh well such is life guess well see what happens tomorrow anyway!!

ME THINKS
So for this week I was reading our community paper and this one paragraph really hit me its more of a quote but I love it!
"May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human
and enough hope to make you happy.
The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything they that comes there way. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that at the end, you are the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying."
-----------------------------
I also love this little thought.
"The way I see it, we only have one life. You just live it the best you can. Going back is not an option. Going forward is. It's never to late to go after what you've dreamed of-to earn a degree, to learn to sky dive. But sometimes we forget that when we go after our dreams, we have to give up something to get there. If the exchange is good then great. " Go for it.
-----------------------------------------
I love that because isn't it so true usually always to get to where we want to be there is always something we have to give up whether its time money talent friends whatever it is its usually worth the exchange. Fitting for me this month.
HAve an awesome week! Make it a great one!

And that my dear is why I hope to never move again! LOL! I can't stand the disarray and unorganization of it all......tell me again why I am constantly in the midst of renovations then?! : D
LOVE LOVE LOVE Lauren's hair and pictures. She is just SO darn cute!!!!
Love your quote for the day. As always! : D
What a cute little girl you have Christal! Good luck moving. I'm sure it's hard to leave great friends and a great ward. You would fit in anywhere though and your new ward will LOVE your little family I'm sure!!
She looks so adorable! I can't believe she was able to stand up straight with that backpack! she looks so tiny!
I've been to Waterton once about 15 years ago, from what I remember its very pretty up there.. (just a random comment, sorry).
I agree, I like quotes that remind me to appreciate life.
Your little girl is so cute. Love those big bows!
I also like that quote. One of my fave happy quotes is by Abraham Lincoln, "Most people are only as happy as they make up their minds to be."
Have a great week!
It WAS great to meet you! Even if it was only for a few minutes. I have been loving your posts lately. You have some really awesome quotes and thoughts. We really are so blessed to be a part of this gospel. Also, I'm sad I missed your garage sale.
Love all the pictures of Lauren....what a cute girl!
I too am really sad about leaving our ward which we have been in for 7 1/2 years. I know everyone and I'm just really comfortable in it. We have been in our house for 4 years (which is the longest we've ever lived in one house). We moved 4 other times but we were still in the same ward (that was nice). Good luck with your move. I hope you love your new ward and I'm sure they will all love you!
love the layout!!
