{ ME THINKS...}

ME thinks....

Lessons I'm learning in life and quotes that go along with it:
  • Just because you want something so bad doesn't mean it will happen.
  • A childs laugh means your doing something right.

  • There are so many life lessons to learn, especially from our choices, if we take what it gives and learn the positive from it.

  • Complaining will get you nowhere or does it for some?

  • Children do what you do even when you don't think you do it.

  • Change always comes with some sort of sacrifice

  • Getting something you really want always comes with a lot of work first.

  • Life never slows down there is always something going on.

  • Children know more then you think they do.

  • Judging gets you nowhere, acceptance does.

  • a smile is worth a thousand words

  • People who are treated with love and concern, return the gesture especially when you need it.

  • "Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted."

  • "People will inspire those who inspire them, not those who intimidate them."

  • "The road to anywhere is the road to nowhere, and the road to nowhere leads to dreams sacrificed, opportunities squandered, and a life unfulfilled. In our journey we will encounter forks and turnings in the road."—Thomas S. Monson

  • "Great opportunities are cleverly disguised as impossible situations."—Unknown

  • "Happiness is felt by making other people happy." {so very true SERVICE SERVICE !!!}

  • "The way I see it, if you want the rainbows you gotta put up with the rain."—Dolly Parton

  • "If it is meant to be, it is up to me."

  • "Attitudes are contagious. Is yours worth catching?"

  • "The past is behind; learn from it. The future is ahead; prepare for it. The present is here; live in it."—Thomas S. Monson {Do we learn from the past??}

  • "It's nice to be important. But it's more important to be nice." {It gets you a lot farther in life}

This quote has nothing to do with anything but I love it cause it makes me laugh:
"Dressing immodestly is like rolling around in manure—you get a lot of attention, mostly from pigs and flies."
---------------

So there they are. I've been thinking a lot lately how every little thing we do and say counts/matters the way we treat others, the time we take for others the amount of service and acceptance of all people no matter where they come from or what they are like. Just being an example to our children and our reaction to things or the patient level we have rubs off on our children. Basically how important it is to be happy and be nice and be an example so one day when all things catch up to us we will be content for the things we have done and happy in knowing we did the best we can and happy to be where we are, with no regrets.

Just some thoughts that keep me thinking.

We had a good weekend kind of busy lately getting things ready to move but on fri night went to a reception so nice to see old friends, saturday we went to town and finished getting some furniture ordered, and some stuff for the new house {which we get today YEAH!!} We went to a party sat night fun to relax and laugh and spend time with friends and meet new ones. Sunday was nice to visit with family KandH and have them home again! It was a nice weekend and I am so thankful for the blessings we have been given over the years. K & H asked us to tell them our story from the beginning from meeting to getting married to now just for fun, it was kind of nice to go over all the things we have been through, some of the things I had forgotten and some I've blocked out ha ha. It was fun to remember what we have been through to get to where we are today and all the lessons we have learned the sacrifice and the trials, joys and blessings of our life together. We have been very blessed and for that I am so, so grateful.

My life. My thoughts. My blog. My journey.
What are you learning in YOUR journey?

Have a great week make it the best it can be!!

Christal... I can't say it enough, I LOVE coming here and being uplifted and always spiritually fed!

I am learning:
That being "just me" is great.

That some things in life just aren't fair but it always turns out exactly how it is supposed to.

That there are more good people in this world than I ever imagined!

Just a few... I think we could all go on and on couldn't we?!

Have a perfect day!

I think that the way we handle and deal with the little good and bad stuff that we might think is not important determines how we are going to act when the big stuff happens. that was a long sentence, did it make sense? and that immodesty quote is the best!
