HMMMM Me thinks..... {nice seatbelt }I'm still waiting and waiting to have phone service & Internet its getting hard to find time to get the things I need to get done on the computer. Oh well soon hopefully I feel like I'm so far behind. All in time right.
Patience never was my strong point but I'm working on it slowly....trying.....

ANYWAY
I only have a few minutes to write, but I got an email from a friend today and I hope she doesn't mind me using part of it {see below} cause it totally made me think.
Its so true when something major happens in life and we have to reevaluate everything its the little things that don't matter. Its the important things that we need to focus on more then the things we think matter.
Its made me think a lot about what I stress over daily that just doesn't matter. Spending each moment like its our final day is so much more important
let the kids play in the dirt, get down with the kids on the floor, read more, give of ourselves more, worry about the dishes later. Spend more time together as a family creating traditions and lasting memories.
We need to ask ourselves a lot of questions will this matter in the long run? So many questions thoughts and answers come to mind.
Does it take a major life crisis to change us? Our thinking? Our actions?
Can we start now doing, thinking and becoming better people for our selves, our children, our husbands, friends, families. We really never do know what is around the corner.
Anyway just a little ME THINKS for today.
"It is amazing how priorities can so sharply realign. I just laugh to think about the things I used to worry about or think I wanted. So meaningless when a crisis situation comes up. All I can do is trust that the Lord will take care of us. It is funny how we can fool ourselves into thinking we are running this show called "our lives". He is running the show and I have to believe that he knows what is best for us. It doesn't stop me from praying for miracles though. All things are possible through the Lord--we never know what is around the corner."
Have a great week! Make everyday count.

Very good points! Love the inspiration. THanks for sharing.

I remember no phone/internet a couple of times. drove me nuts. more not having a phone (not that i talk on it tons). We will probably be without again in December too. At least we have cell phones this time. I'm excited to come see your house on friday, and also get together with everyone. thanks for making me think with your me thinks. Hope D has a good birthday too!! we love you.
It's a daily struggle for me to let the small stuff go and concentrate on what really counts, especially because I'm a one woman show lots of the time. But thank you so much for the remainder. Was that snippet of an e-mail from your friend with the sick husband? Don't know her or the story, but she is so strong.
Girl you couldn't have said it better! Life is way to short and we are spending our lives so wastefully ? Or are we? So many questions can be ask. The past week or two I have really been thinking of my own personal life and all that I am so thankful for. I am so blessed! I have NOTHING to complain about. My life is way to short to stress over the little things. Believe me it has taken work though, like letting the toys stay out all day, not letting spilled milk make my nerves cringe or sassying make me want to cry. Let's make teh best of today !
Hopefully you get your phone and internet soon. Patience is a hard one for me!
Love your thinking today! It's so true that we need to spend each moment like it's our last.
