{ Me Thinks }

It was the craziest busiest weekend in forever!! We moved over to our new house and got things pretty organized. I do have to say that my system worked well I didn't have one box just sitting anywhere in the house! I'd take a load over fill the cupboard and go for the next load so nice! To feel organized so early {of course that isn't to say that the garage isn't full of STUFF}!

We are loving the space its so awesome to have rooms to go to get away and to actually have to look for somebody is a completely different story, and to actually have the food for dinner on the table {cause our old table was so small} was so fun. We still kind of feel like we are house sitting for somebody but once the decorations and area rugs, window coverings etc are all done it will feel much more like a home. The kids call it our fake home funny not sure why I guess they just aren't used to it yet. But they are calmer and play better which makes for a happier mommy. So space does makes a huge difference to all of us.

Other then that we had to speak on Sunday which went well I think it was the first time I didn't get really nervous maybe that comes with age I don't know maybe I just was passionate about our topic and felt more confident in the topic - family means everything to me and getting across the points of doing those things we need to now to make a difference in our families is so so important. So speaking about it was a great reminder to me of what I need to be doing.

But both went pretty well I guess. Glad its done though. D had so much to do it was hard to juggle kids the things that needed done and finish packing they built a scout storage shed this weekend too for our ward but afterwards D brought home some guys to help move the big stuff. SO it all worked out and went fast. My sis Dawna and D's sister Katelyn and husband Hakon came and helped too so it was nice to have there help and much appreciated~!

Here are some pics { remember nothing is decorated or anything} but the kids are loving the island and stools its so awesome for breakfast, lunch, homework we are already loving it!

So a funny from yesterday I was getting Mase ready for church and he insisted on wearing a tie and a different shirt and keep saying ti like kolten instead fo the one I had out for him! Didn't know he cared so much he wanted to look just like Kolten I thought it was so cute so my two tie wearing boys ready for church {actually this pic he already took it off but you can see in the next pic !} He is getting to be such a big boy! Only needs to be potty trained now!!

Contemplating life not sure?? He looks so big and grown up now too!

And little Miss Lauren! I was so dang proud of her yesterday in Primary she was going to give the closing prayer for the first time and so I went up to help her and she walked right up said a beautiful prayer right in the mike, clear as can be without any help from me. Totally surprised me I thought she would be shy and need help. She'll be giving a talk next week j/k! But I was so very proud of her!

I am loving our new table {excuse the white paper towel under the table we need some floor protectors } But we can all sit at it with 2 extra spots, have food at it and have room to spare that is a new thing for us!! I love love the bench now we just need to finish the rest of the chairs but its so nice to sit around it and have a head of the table and room to breath without knocking knees. Simple joys I guess but it is so nice.

And last but not least our lovely "accident" of last week --- Our beautiful new fridge that decided to lean to the right of the truck and take a roll in the ditch sickening eh. Not much you can do -- it happened we laughed, we cried, got sick and ordered a new one {that's the sick part I think}.

It was totally packed in tight in the back of D's truck enough to have to wedge the tailgate tightly closed, he had the tie downs in his hands and thought there's now way its going anywhere so long story short it swayed to the right and jumped out of the truck. Thankfully into the ditch and not the highway. Moral of story always tie down your stuff no matter how tightly wedged it feels! Funny thing is he always straps his stuff down but really it was so tight he thought now way..! And the do not drop part was my sarcastic message to D when he came home from work the next day ha ha!!! He laughed! Got to laugh what else do you do it happened move on -- right!!

so this is ME THINKS for this week.

I figure since D used it in his talk yesterday with a great analogy about families and how we need to "strap down" or secure and teach our children the important things in life while they are young now so they don't sway of falter because they don't know . We need to teach them to work hard, to pray, to have values to respect themselves and others, to read their scriptures etc. These things all together will and can restore faith in the family it is so important to survive these times in raising our children. They may stumble and fall sometimes but they are different from the fridge in that we have the atonement to help us repair what has gone wrong. {He said it much better and much more eloquently he did a great job I can usually never get out what I'm really trying to say} But you get what I'm saying!
